Nice church

It is the oldest stone church in the East Siberia. Around the church there is a beautiful park to rest and relax as well as the banks of the Angara river.

It is the oldest stone church in the East Siberia. Around the church there is a beautiful park to rest and relax as well as the banks of the Angara river.

Just one of the many photo ops that was along our foot journey around Irkutsk. There's a outdoor history gallery nearby with 'walls' of information. Do stop for a wealth of information. Recommended!

We loved this place. People inside looks very nice and gently. we met there our first Russian father-friend lol. his name is "odes Gafrila". He invited us to his home and we ate Russian soups for symbolic price and he sold us very tasty homemade honey which we ate in 1 day lol. Very beautiful from inside. Worth to visit... More

The pictures tell the story outside. Very pretty. When I was there, there were renovations going on so didn't get to see much of the interior. There is a small cupola by it with a marker (don't know what for) that locals like to be photographed with. It's very close to the beautiful Bogoyarlensky Cathedral, as well as to the... More
