I had a great day. The guide showed me the most beautiful places to see. We saw the frozen bubbles typical of the region. We also did a little sport crossing ice accumulations to reach a part of the frozen lake on which the ice is absolutely transparent and of infinite beauty. We were even able to have tea on the ice and go ice skating. Finally the guide was extremely kind and told me tons of interesting anecdotes about the lake and the region. To sum up it was a perfect day with a perfect guide. I recommend this esthetic day 200%.

You could not imagine how beautiful it is before you get there! Had such a wondeful day with my dear Marina. This tour is full of local experience things and intersting historical places. My guide Marina is truly knowledgeble and caring person. She well explained about Russian history and good place to go! I didn’t even feel cold at all cause she brought me a cup of tea and took me to a warm place when I felt cold. Plus, she is such a good photographer! Lol Do not hesitate to go to Irkutsk in this winter! ;) Made an awesome day, and made a sincere friend seriously. Thanks for letting me join your tour! 투어 하는 내내 즐거웠습니다. 이르쿠츠크를 겨울에 가면 많이 추울까봐 걱정 했는데, 생각보다 너무너무 좋았습니다! 꼭 가세요, 두 번 가세요!

The local guide Yana was perfect! She speaks perfect English as people in the U.S. speak and that we Japanese can understand easily. And she can imagine what the traveller really wants to do. If he say nothing thinking of what to say or what to want, she can suggest many of wonderful experiences in Irkutsk that the tourist can never do and experience alone. In my case she suggested that I can choose the trip to Kultuk city which is the west side of lake Baikal ,where there were no tourists without me and I can see the freezed ice clearly and the ice that captured the air bubble. This tour was the one that the local russian people only knows. She is from the local city Schlekhov. It was minus 20 degrees there, but she often took care of me. I was got to notice again to see what travel and tourism should be like. Of course, it's great to walk around the streets, walk in the darkness and enjoy the adventure myseif, but with a wonderful guide like Yana showing me the hometown she loves much about , It was very important for me to be able to introduce one part, tell me about the nature of the area, introduce some wonderful spots where there are no other tourists, and capture wonderful photos with the camera. It was a great pleasure. Yes, she had shown me Lake Baikal, the city and railroads of Kultuk, her alma mater and parents' home appearance in Schlekhov, and the very local Russian play on the square. For me it was a valuable, unspeakable and wonderful experience that could never have been seen as a single tourist. And I was able to photograph a lot of wonderful Russian nature. This is the vitality of my daily life. It will be a great direct vitality. I have traveled many cities around the world. Without a doubt, a day in Irkutsk has become a great asset that will remain with me in disability.

This tour was a very nice visit of lake Baïkal and really interesting to learn more about Siberia history. The guide, Anastasia, has been very enthusiastic, smiling and helpful all the time during the day, providing a lot of useful information. She took care of the guest and make her best to make the trip comfortable. It was a pleasure to do this tour with the company and would be glad to do another one in the future. Best regards, Driss

Very good day spent at the Baykal lake. Marina, our guide, was very smart and well prepared about the local natural and history treasures. Very interesting the visit to the forest and to the Burian village at the Taltsy museum. All the the things promised by the organizing agency were provided. About the transportation do not expect to have a private car or van: the Irkutsk public transportation vans are used to reach the various places: a van from the central market to the Taltsy museum; a taxi for the Baykal lake and a bus from the Baykal lake to come back to Irkutsk. But don’t be worried: the guide shall pay all the tickets for you. The only thing is that drivers drive like crazy here, and you should be a little scared about how fast they drive on not well kept roads... Very funny (and tasty) the fish pic nic at the Bajkal (the guide shall purchase the local smoked fish for you at the central market on the lake’s shore). We were all very satisfied at the end of the tour.
