I booked the tour directly on their website and got a reply right a few hours.
Even though I was the only person participating in the tour (and probably one of the only foreigner in Irkutsk, Coronavirus) the guide Mikhail came and showed me around the city, explaining its history while replying to my questions.
Definitely would recommend and it’s free so I mean, come on !

We had an amazing 3 hours tour of Irkutsk with Mihail, in English and Russian language, depending on our mood! Weather was cold, very cold, so Mihail proposed us a tour by car already some days before our arrival to Irkutsk, with some stops in the most significant places for 5 to 10 minutes walking.
Mihail has been very friendly, but also professional and prepared. I would really recommend him and if there will be the chance to come during summer time, we will contact him for other different excursions!

We joined a two-days-one-night tour to Arshan. Email reservation and replies were prompt. Our guide Mikhail was considerate and took good care of me and my family. Mikhail also introduced good scenaries along the way and offered us quick stops along the way to take pictures. We had a warm and welcoming tour to Arshan. Thank you for this memorable journey.

Dimitriy was my guide for the free tour and if was a real good moment. He his really friendly, has good knowledge in history/geography and like to share it. I definitely recommand it, you will spend a wonderful time and if you are lucky, you'll get tea and blinis.

I had a 3 day tour in lake Baikal. Dimitry arranged everything from the bus that picked me up, and dropped me off, and the clean guesthouse with delicious food. Highly recommend this tour if you travel to lake Baikal.

I contacted the company through WhatsApp and got an immediate response from Dimitriy. I was the only person for the tour on that day. Dimitriy was my guide and he is indeed an excellent guide . He is pretty flexible with regard to the starting time of the tour and adjusted the itinerary according to my interest. The price is also reasonable and Dimitriy has immense knowledge about Lake Baikal and surrounding areas and he also suggested some places to buy souvenirs, where to eat etc..I had a great time and glad that I chose this company for my tour. I highly recommend the company " Irkutsk free tour" for your tours in and around Baikal area.

Dimitry is a very laid back friendly guide who's command of English & personality makes him the perfect Russian guide. He is patient and polite and goes out of his way to make sure you enjoy & have a hassle free trip. Ask any question you want and he'll be able to answer or will find out for you. Thank you so much for making my first visit a great experience!

Even though it was the end of the season, and I was the only one who signed up for the evening tour, Dimitriy still showed up and gave a great tour of Irkutsk center!
Really enjoyed the walk filled with pleasant conversations, facts and insights into history, architecture, art and everyday life in Irkutsk.

I took this free tour led by Dimitriy today and had a great time !
Dimitriy, with his apprentice Sasha, showed me around some more remote areas of Irkutsk, places that I probably wouldn't have visited on my own. He has very good local knowledge and many interesting facts/anecdotes to tell. Finally, I also liked his style. You actually never feel like you're on a tour but rather as if you were visiting with a friend :)
Definitely, I recommend taking the tour !
