We loved walking through the Stolby forests and being immersed in nature - this is a must do if you are a nature-lover. Chipmunks running around, birds chirping and plenty of fauna and flora, this was a welcomed day off, away from the city. At one point we reached the end of our hike, where the land is flat, just... Came here in winter and it was beautiful. We took bus nr. 50 from the opera/theater to reach the park and got out at the river ruch la Lentina. Follow the road in the direction of the bus for 100 m and then enter to the park road to the left. After 2km there is the park entrance. For the... More

This was a death march up hill...it was approximately 5-7 km from the bus stop (50 takes you there) or a 135 ruble uber ride. I opted uber there. And bus 50 back. The walk was long...yea yeah, nice and peaceful but holy jeesums, I wasn't expecting to walk a half marathon today. Guess I can tick that off the... More

This immense park is a heaven for nature lovers.Covered with typical taiga forest trees: spruce, fir, aspen and larch, crossed by brooks.Plenty of bird feeders are scattered along the main trail so birds, squirrels are easy to spot, nice wooden church on the way.I took bus 50 from the beginning of the Kommunalnyy bridge, near the Krasnoyarsk hotel and the theater/opera .Bus drops you off at... Take the chair lift up to the top to enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the nature reserve. Walk to the nearest rock formations and try to spot some wildlife such as wood peckers and chipmunks.

I am not a keen hiker but visiting the Stolby National Park was one of the best decisions I made while travelling in Siberia. The beauty of the forest was mesmerising and the views from the top of the rocks were absolutely breathtaking. And a special mention and thanks to our guide Anatoliy who was extremely professional and patient, I... More

Easy to walk many signs and cute little squirrels everywhere. As Krasnojarsk has little attractions this is the place to go.

Went to visit on October 2008 (Don't have the option to choose it). Park was completely covered with snow. The trip is for good shape hikers (or, if you are a native Siberian, no special skills). The rock formations are very special and out-of-this-world. Worth the trouble. Make sure you take food and water with you - there is nothing... More

We went on a daytrip to stolby park. You can easily get there with bus 50 and walk from the busstop to the entrance. Make sure you take pictures of the map in the kiosk and buy a map of the park (this map has more details). In the park there are only russian signs, but with a map it... More
