We were told go into the supermarket, this is no supermarket i have ever been into. It is decadent and some many delicious things and the pianos places, there are musicians on the balcony and lots of people milling looking. A large date palm in tthe middle of the room. This is a rare find

The impressive art nouveau decoration brings you back to the days of the tsars. You can drink your coffee, eat a sweet or do your shopping hearing the melodies played by a pianist. I think it is a must for everyone who visits St. Petersburgh

This food hall is definitely a must see - and I'd venture to say a must eat - when visiting St. Petersburg. It was too rainy to sit at the cafe tables outside, but we ventured downstairs and had an excellent lunch, starting with caviar and vodka and ending with delicious desserts. I do not speak Russian but they had... More

Quite a specialty food shop. Incredible pastries, candy, teas, coffees, etc. A treat for the senses. The building is well decorated. A restaurant with restrooms are available. Don't miss the store if you are on Nevesky Prospeckt.

This place (and the related Cafe) are part of a very famous (and expensive) shop in SP. I was told that this shop was, 100 years ago, the best place where to find everything you dreamt of. So here I am, cafe first, doing crazy things and ordering Black caviar Canapés. And here they came, two of them, a diameter... More

Positioned next to a pedestrian street adjacent to Nevsky Prospect, Yeliseev's is an Art Nouveau gem chock full of gourmet delights - many made in-house. The marzipan displays are not to be missed. Great place to pick up lovely packaged gifts or souvenirs ranging from caviar and vodka to sweets and teas.
