If I lived here I would visit here every weekend, feels like old Russia! Beautiful building with piano music and unusual decor. Amazing displays of yummy cakes, confectionary and vodka! Very reasonably priced. (If you're on a cruise wait for duty free for the vodka though! As it's an absolute bargain!!) lovely moving displays in the window. Use a map... More

My bag of treats says that this is Kupetz Eliseevs, but the address matches other reviews as do the descriptions of this delightful store! The mechanical elves in the windows outshine NY windows at Christmas. The candy, marzipan, cheeses, baked goods, and gifts are all beautiful. The interior of the store is lovely, with beautiful wood, gilded ceilings and stained... More

Eye candy, real candy, the world's best eclairs - visited several times to buy the eclairs (hopefully we walked them off) Caviar, chocolates - you name it. All in a beautiful art deco building.

Lots to see, lots to buy and lots to taste. Make sure you look up when you hear the music playing as it's 'live' up on the balcony. Don't miss the animated window display.

The Yeleviseeskiy Gastronom is housed in an elaborate 1902-vintage building with bronze statues representing, science, commerce, industry and the arts. In the high-arched display windows mechanical elves that looked a lot like they might have inspired the Keebler versions went busily about producing cakes and sausages. Inside, the shop was smaller inside than I had expected, but the treats on... More

So grandiose, yet the food prices are about average. Weekends bring the chance of getting a table. My cheesecake was delicately superb.

This place is unique because it is one of the oldest food stores in the city. You can find anything fancy there.

We ate at the Coffee Shop Mehho (below in the central area) and had great tea and lunch. It is a beautiful place, funky and reasonably priced. Recommended to visit and, if you can get a seat, to experience the range of teas and the food.

Beautiful store, cafe, restaurant all-in-one! See the ornate desserts, pick up a souvenir, have a snack or drink at the cafe...one of a kind shop. Notice the live music from up on the balcony. There is a fancy restaurant upstairs or a casual cafe on main level. There are desserts, cavier, vodkas in matryoshka dolls (great souvenir), meats, cheeses, and... More
