Watch out, folks, what appears to be a sure bet may prove to be a trap. Before you choose your seats, look up the photos and take the virtual tour on the theatre’s site, it helps.

A special treat, on our first visit to St Petersburg, to see the Russian ballet and a special production of Sleeping Beauty. Though the seats weren’t cheap the view was excellent (middle stalls row one seats 25/26) and despite seating 2000 it felt very intimate....More
Absolutely stunning. I have never wanted to watch ballet but went along with my wife and daughters. Simply stunning performance (Cinderella). Why have I not been before. Walked out at the end and immediately booked to see another ballet. You must see this performance
