I only saw the outside as part of a White Nights tour from our cruise. The blues and whites of the building are spectacular all lit up at night.

After almost half an hour of walking from the nearest metro station you finally reach the destination. What a beautiful sight. This light blue and white church is part of an convent; set on the river bank. Not many tourists here, but certainly worth the...More

Only saw the outside and it makes a pretty picture. Out of the way a bit but there are buses that get you close from Nevsky pr. The area has some beautiful buildings and it looks and feels prosperous, unlike some of the other districts.

This a very pretty and elegant Baroque church - one of Rastrelli gems in St Petersburg. The exterior is stunning, the interior - much more basic - often used for concerts. I visited the cathedral with an organized group excursion so the transport was not...More

The "blue and white" Cathedral has beautiful external outlook while there are decoration works going on internally. The Cathedral is mostly used for exhibitions and looked quite plain as you go inside. Not much tourists come here due to inadequate public transportation means and so...More

The cathedral and entire area has a magnificent outside view. Also climbing a stairs to the top of bell tower will lead you to the unique view of St. Petersburg. Look for the entrance to the staircase at the right side after entering the cathedral...More
