You will easily pass this at one point in your wanderings if you visit St Isaacs or the Admiralty buildings and their parks nearby. Take note of the steed crushing the serpent beneath its hoof.

A bit like the iconic Mermaid in Copenhagen this is one of those statues that people will want to photograph and reflects St Petersburgs historic past and splendour.

It's a landmark, Catherine showing off her greatness by showing of Peter the Great. It is a statue guys, nice to stroll by or have a peak, unless you are into the detals. Impressive mount.

The bronze statue isn't that impressive really and is only worth seeing if you happen to be passing - such as if you're walking along that part of the river or are near to the cathedral.

A fine statue, especially if you have read the related section of the Pushkin poem. The park setting is very beautiful as well.

What you see is what you get. Big statue near St. Isaac Cathedral. A small walk from the Hermitage, near the boats to Peterhof.

Great statue and it's amazing to see the horse on its hind legs. Well worth a look if your in the area. There are also nice streets and park nearby and it's not far from the river

The Bronze Horseman is just a statue but a statue that memorializes Peter the Great. We did not get a good photo as we drove by it.....
