Located at Alexander Nevsky metro station this old church is magnificant in its own right but rather more famous for its cemetery in which some of the most famous Russians have been buried. Very serene and tranquil place.

Alexander Nevskiy Lavra is open daily and is free to go in. There is Alexander Nevsky church, the monastery and the cemetery. We walked from Alexander Nevsky metro station.
