Hello Ludmila: you may remember us from a few years ago; you and your team made our visit to St. Petersburg and environs most enjoyable. Your winning personality and vast knowledge of the many museums and sites greatly added to our "Russian" experience. We especially enjoyed the day trip to Pushkin to visit Catherine Palace. It's a trip we would love to repeat someday. Mrs. S.

Last July we went on a Baltic cruise and spent 2 full days in St. Petersburg. We did not want to book with the ship and after some search I found Ludmila Tours on the net. I sent them a list of sites we wanted to see in St. Petersburg. Ludmila offered an excellent 2 day tour program at a very reasonable price. We had a great guide Helen who was very knowledgeable and nice to us. Her English was perfect. Our driver Vlad was very friendly. We enjoyed Russian lunch included in our tour, Ludmila's choice of restaurants and meals was excellent. If you plan to visit St. Petersburg, we definitely recommend you to work with Ludmila Tours there.

Once in St. Petersburg you cannot get outside the ship, in our case, without a guide..... the signs in the city are not in english and few people speak english....We had a great tour guide called Svetlana - Lana, that showed us the best of the city and surroundings....She is an experienced guide, knows a lot about the history and passioned for the job!
I definetely recommended this tour!!

We went to St. Petersburg July 2012. Two families 3 adults and 2 teens, I was concerned that the cruise tours would be crowded and boring for our teens so I booked a private tour with Ludmila tours. I got to tell you this was the best decision!!! Our tour guide was fantastic ...Kristina. She was able to engage our teens in a wonderful tour. She was funny and very energetic. We enjoyed every minute of the visit and her company. I strongly recommend if you are going to St Petersburg to work with her.
Our immigration was very smooth and pleasant , Ludmila tours take care of all the details. You don’t need a visa! So don’t let your travel agent, tour company, or cruise line tell you otherwise. We can recommend them, don’t be frightened about the visa talk, it really is no problem getting off the ship and through Russian immigration, its exactly the same for those using the ships tours.

Ludmila was not only very informative but knew how to avoid long entrance lines. Her English was perfect and had a great personality. Our 2 day visit to St Petersberg was a delightful time made possible with Ludmila's leadership.
I might also add that this company is priced below companies that use American Agents. This agency is a Russian based 5 star company. All visa's are included in your tour, also Boris was a super driver getting us through the St Petersberg traffic. Norman Checkor

My family just returned from a Baltic cruise which included a three day stop in St. Petersburg, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the service we received from Ludmila Tours, our tour guide Kristina, and driver Boris. Ludmila made it very easy to book online and answered all of my questions and concerns concerning the arrangements. I was a bit nervous about using a private tour company as the cruise ships tell you that you may not be able to enter the country unless on one of their tours. This was absolutely not the case. With our Ludmila tour tickets in hand, we passed easily through immigration and were greeted promptly by Kristina and Boris. Kristina was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and accommodating for our family of five (my husband and I and three adult children). She was very organized and had pre-booked some attractions so we never had to wait in line for entry to the popular sights. This was a huge advantage as it was 90 degrees while we were there and some of the lines were very long. We were also thankful that Boris was always right outside the door to pick us up in his air conditioned Mercedes van. He also had plenty of bottled water available which was a nice touch. My family agreed that using a private tour company while in St. Petersburg was the smartest thing we did on our Baltic cruise and an excellent value for the service provided. Ludmila Tours, Kristina, and Boris were instrumental in making our visit to St. Petersburg "the trip of a lifetime"!

Just returned from a whirlwind trip to St Petersburg. We booked a private tour with Ludmila Tours via Alex. Our guide Christina was amazing and her knowledge of Russian history made our trip even more special and our driver Boris was also good. We don't normally do tours but this is the only way to see this city. She picked up on our vibes and we had a relaxing tour with perfectly timed coffee stops and just enough time visiting the Palaces to avoid the crowds; as well she also recommended some great restaurants since my friends are food connoissours. My friends were on the Silver Whisper cruise and I stayed at the Renaissance Baltic hotel and they picked me up first before we collected my friends plus it was my friends birthday and she organised for us to stop at special spot to toast her birthday. Will recommend to anyone visiting this city.

We booked after trawling the web for a provider to meet our cruise ship visit requirements. Alex /Ludmila were the right price and a great match for our party (4 kids, parents and grand parents).
Olga was super patient and flexible with the kids and mum (reduced mobility), and while we did not fit the whole itinerary into our two days, we did get as much as possible into those hours.
Highlights were Olga's great grip of SPB and art history, and day two's lunch at the Russian pie shop/cafe.

We booked 2 days. Olga our guide for St. PETERSBURG was great.
She offered not only the sights but provided good historical background explaining how people and events created Russian history.she went out of her way to accommodate my wife who uses a cane and can't walk for long periods.
She took us to an
unscheduled stop at our request.
I would highly recommend Ludmilla for any tours in the city.
The contact,Internet booking and responsiveness were excellent. I would not hesitate to use them again.
As an aside, Ludmilla is very charming and knowledgeable and was a pleasure to meet.

Everything about this 2-day tour of St. Petersburg was excellent! Very well organized, comfortable van, fabulous tour. Our tour guide was named Svetlana. She was just wonderful! I just don't think we could have had a tour guide more knowledgeable or enthusiastic about all the sites we visited in St. Petersburg. When we got back to the ship and talked to other people about their tours, we felt like we had the best tour. I would certainly recommend Ludmila tours - they definitely have their act together! cheryl & mike h.

The “Important Information” section of the “St Petersburg 2 Day Top-Guided Optimized Mini-Group Tour Introducing The Best of the City And Its Suburbs” on Tripadvisor lists Entry/Admission to "Savior on Spilled Blood" under Inclusions, and also lists Entry/Admission to "Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood" under Exclusions
:
Are these two different sites, only one of which we get inside, or is there an error in the listing?
Written January 15, 2020
Dear Campbell,
That's the same site and an error in the listing. All admission is included, the Spilled Blood Cathedral in not an exception. Thank you very much for ponting that error, we will draw TA attention to it.
Best regards

Wir sind vom 20.10 bis 21.10.2019 mit der Aida aura in St. Petersburg und interessieren uns für die 2-tägige Tour. Meine Frage: Wird diese auch in Deutsch angeboten? LG
Written August 24, 2019
Dear Guests, thank you for your inquiry. Sorry we do not set up any group tours in German but can offer you a private tour in that language. Regards. Elena

2 Questions. 1. Where or in what area are we dropped off for the Day One 3 hour extension? 2. At Catherine's Palace and Hermitage do we wait in the entry line or do you provide front of the line service?
Written May 20, 2019
Dear Guests, thank you for your inquiry. It will be the city center. We will do our best taking you inside the mentioned museums avoiding long lines. Feel free to ask any questions. Best regards. Ludmila

Hi,we are considering booking a 2 day tour of St Petersburg with you ,our concern is that you do not state that there would be an English speaking guide ,this of course is a high priority as we have no other language skills
Written December 5, 2016
Hi. I'm not the tour operator but took the tour. Ludmilla is a fluent English speaker and a delight.

Is there a charge to use the loungers and sunshades on the beach?
Written February 14, 2015
Unfortunately there are only about 50 sunny days per year in this area that's why the loungers and sunshades are useless here, the rain coats, umbrellas, and good heating system are the most useful things in St.Petersburg Russia. Probably you inquired regarding another destination: St.Petersburg, Florida?
