This is a touristy but fun immersion into Russian dance, music and singing. Great for kids, but get there early and sit in the front.

I guess if you only have a short time in Russia, you would want to see things unique to Russia, so we went along to the "Russian Folklore Show" at the Nikolayevsky Palace. The presentation is very entertaining, but a bit "ordinary". Nothing spectacular and a bit repetitive in places. The intermission where you could enjoy a glass of vodka... More

A so called Russian evening. Slightly on the boring side and not extremely professional. Definitely not worth the price. The only plus was the palace it took place in which is beautiful.

The show is really good,40 minutes show. an intermission of 20 where you can have some snacks and another 40 minutes show. The big issue is the dinner afterward. You look like a goose. There is a starter. A hot appetizer a main course and a dessert and everything was served within 30 minutes. We hadn't even finished something that... More

Tickets booked online and posted had not arrived after two months, so customer service staff (thanks Helen) arranged for a courier to be waiting at the venue (amazing palace) with replacements. Wine + buffet OK, and the enthusiastically delivered performance showcased Russian song & dance culture well. Warning:members of the audience are pulled onto the stage as supplementary performers! Seats... More

Even in a relatively small stage, the show was spectacular. For those that love coral singing, it was a very interesting experience, the trio that performed several typical Russian pieces, Then the spectacular Russian dances and th fantastic costumes. One piece of humour: spectators ar called to clinb to the satage and "try" a dance. I was one of the... More

We were interested to experience some of the Russian culture when we visited St Petersburg in August. The show is performed in a beautiful palace. The price of snack bar and show is reasonable. Duration of the show is 2 hours. I felt that all dancers were all very skilled and passionate about their show. Very professional! It is much... More

On arrival you are given a glass of "champagne" but it is impossible to rink it in the mad rush for seats. You have to be assertive to compete with the tour groups. The show is quite good but rather expensive. During the interval we were offered various snacks and quite a bit of vodka! Overall it is a lively song... More

This show is a tourist trap. Few dancers and singers, very basic russian folk music. The theather is awful. It is small and there are no asigned seats; expect some dispute over the seats, especially if there are tourists groups that are not specially polite.

The "Feel Yourself Russian" folk show is set in the magnificent Nikolayevsky Palace. The show consists of a medley of songs, dancing and music performed by a series of different folk troupes costumed in traditional Russian dress. The dancing is awesome and energetic. It is performed on a relatively small stage. I found it best to sit in the middle... More
