St. Nicholas Cathedral is the oldest cathedral on the Yaroslav’s Courtyard, on the Trade side and among all cathedrals in Russia consecrated to St. Nicholas. Built in the early 12th century this is the oldest building in Yaroslav's Court. It appears to currently being restored and there was no access to it when we visited Novgorod at the end of June 2008. There were some monuments outside the cathedral, but apart from that there wasn't much to see.
