The upside down village house is a quirky tradition around the Baltics, with such houses existing in Lithuania and Latvia to my knowledge. I did not pay to go inside, I don't see the point. It's cool enough to observe from the exterior and make funky pictures. Located in the big old park, it's a leisurely place to take a stroll.

No longer than 10 minutes required in the house. It quickly gets boreing however not bad for photo opportunities. Rated 2 stars as I feel that it's over priced.

This was really fun to go in! Good picture opportunities. Since it is at an angle, it is a little tricky to walk around and can be a little dizzying, but getting the hang of this is part of the fun!

There are several examples of upside down houses around Europe and the world (closest to Kaliningrad is in Poland), however most of them are simply build upside down, straight. This one added a twist: it's also leaning. You feel it inside...

There are also some fun elements added in and outside the house such as the dog who doesn't know what's going on.

If you are in Kaliningrad or around, worth visiting ; besides it is located in the nicest park of the city.

The upside down house is one of many attractions in this small amusement park located on the outskirts of Kaliningrad. After letting our son enjoy some rides in the amusement park, we ended our stay with a half hour visit to the Upside Down House. The floors of the house are sloped and with everything upside down, you get a strange sensation. But the fun happens when you take a photo with the upside down furniture and then turn the photo upside down. Since the furniture now looks right side up, it looks like you are defying gravity. Entry price was 300 rubles per adult. Entry for our young son was free.
