In our city many attractions, but this cute monument in recent years gained huge popularity. In Arkhangelsk will be sure to shake his hand and RUB the nose. They say it's for luck!

It is fantastic to see new sculptures making the city more appealing to its citizens and visitors [otherwise Arkhangelsk could be grey].

I don't know this writer's work, but from the attention he draws, I'd guess he is beloved. Russians are proud of their heritage and eager to share it with all of us. This pedestrian boulevard has many statues honoring Russia's own.
