Central Square in Vladivostok is classic Soviet with the Memorial for the Fighters for the Soviet Union in the middle and flanked all around by drab, block-style Soviet buildings and with wide avenues leading off the main square.

We enjoyed the memorial statues in the square, but even more we enjoyed seeing the farmer's market on Friday. The variety and quality of produce sold (including preserves) was so interesting, as was the people watching. Lots of fragrant offerings to make a pleasant visit....More

Cant tell when but every wk there is an open market in this square and is worth seeing it and buying as everything is super fresh and of good quality

A few statues, some old architecture, and a big square. Pretty to sit and take a rest for awhile, but thats about it. Would be cool to see some of the festivals and stuff that are held there.
