Brilliant Service

On a recent trip to St Petersburg we booked LingoTaxi for pick ups and for a tour and, to put it mildly, our trip could have been ruined without their help. The first part of getting picked up at the airport went reasonably well considering we were 90 minutes late but the driver was brilliant and waited. While we were there the city went into a partial lockdown and so all our planned visits were hit as we did not have Russian vaccination certificates to enter museums etc. To get over this we contacted Alexander and again he was quick to organise a trip to Peterhof for us at very, very short notice and to get us in with our English language vaccine certificates.
Finally with short notice our flights were brought forward almost a day and again we contacted Alexander and he was able to rearrange our pickup for the airport with just an hours notice.
This is the reason I always use LingoTaxis and I really can not recommend them highly enough.

A Four hour car tour includes late start and parking woes.

We had booked a Lingo tour with a guide cum driver, who was totake us around the main Moscow tourist highlights.
We were a party of 4 adults who fitted comfortably in his van, which he said he owned. He was about 10 minutes late in picking us up from our hotel, but very prompt in dropping us back on the dot. The tour was to start at 10 am and end at 2 pm. We were picked up at 10.10 am and dropped back on the dot at 2 pm.

During the tour we were taken to Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Stalin’s Skyscrapers and shown from a distance the Central Stadium. Though we went to Sparrow Hill, it was basically to view the Moscow city from a vantage point but were not taken inside the University. We however had a good photo opportunity at the Triumphal Arch and generally driven around.

There was a lot of time wasted at the cathedral of Christ the savior, as no parking space was available and the guide dropped us and went off to get a parking. he returned after about 30 minutes.

Thus about 30 to 40 minutes of the 2200 Rouble/hour tour got wasted. These kind of delays need to be factored in when you are booking your tour as nobody will tell you about it in advance.

Thank you for sharing your tour experience with us! We are sad to read that our driver/guide was late for the pick up, which is a no-go for us. Our guides and all drivers must always be on time, and report to our dispatching in case of any second they might be delay. Sadly, this did not happen here, nor did we received a customer complaint on any tour in September regarding a guide delay. With regard to the situation at Christ the Saviour, we are deeply sorry that you had such an unpleasant experience there. Parking spots are unfortunately sometimes rare in Moscow, however just being dropped off during a tour without the guide is another no-go that is not tolerated by us. We totally understand your point, as you are absolutely right. We would highly appreciate if you could contact our customer service by email, indicating the day of tour or booking ID, so we can trace this review back and reimburse you accordingly. Thank you for choosing our services!

Truly Excellent - use them!

We were in Moscow and St Petersburg in early November and used Lingo five times. From and to the airports and the Sapsan train. Every journey went perfectly and the drivers were very helpful - in particular in Moscow when Vasily parked and walked us round the side directly to our platform. Additionally the help chat on the website is extremely helpful when you make bookings. Be aware that you are paying a fairly large premium for their service but the dependability and the good drivers make it worthwhile, especially if this is your first visit.

I had Lingo service on my last trip to St. Petersburg and I can say only one word. Excellent. Driver Nikolai was fantastic with excellent knowledge of English and I can recommend to all to use this service. Always on time, clean car, big car (comfort class) and not expensive. The most important he was on time like we had appointed and we felt very safe.

This was our first time visiting Russia and unsure of the public transport, we opted for a private transfer.
I didn't do much research, but this company was competitive with their prices.
I booked and paid for one trip from Puklova Airport to our hotel in the city and ticked the box to say I would pay cash to the driver.
I immediately received a confirmation email with all the details.
Within 48 hours of our arrival, I received a detailed email with the drivers name, car registration and a cost of 1750 roubles.
At the airport we were met by the lovely Elena and our 15 minute journey was good.
As this was such an efficient service, I booked again for our return as it was a 3.30am collection. Again, I received a confirmation immediately and within 48 hours, another email with the drivers details.
This time it was Guneet who was very polite, helped with our luggage and a great journey back to the airport.

We paid cash on both occasions and gave a tip.

I would definitely recommend for anybody visiting Russia and the cost was minimal.
Perfect and a well deserved 5 stars from me.

Lingo Taxi you guys rock, You ensured our trip in Russia is memorable, Alexander from Lingo Taxi was a wonderful host and had arranged everything as per my demand and request.
Our Driver Dimitry was a perfect companion and helped me celebrating my wife’s birthday organising all the surprises.He is a very nice soul and with great sense of humour.
Our guide Yanina was a wonderful guide, super friendly and knowledgeable, she made our city tour awesome.She speaks very good english and made us all very comfortable.

Infact Alexander made sure that our trip is hassle free by providing all English speaking and cooperative staff, clean vehicles.
I highly recommend Lingo Taxi to all,
they truly value you.

Peterhof tour and other tours

We booked a private tour from St.Petersburg to Peterhof Palace. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel by our guide Eugenia. She was very informative and gave us a wonderful tour/description of the palace, gardens, fountains and many other things even during the drive. We skipped the queues and hardly had to wait anywhere.

We also did a taxi for Sergeiv Posad from Moscow, and another one from Moscow hotel to Airport. The drivers speak english, were decent and engaged in conversations.

Overall, I would highly recommend for the tours and taxi services.

One day in Moscow

Everything was as agreed. The driver, Kiril, knew how to drive in the heavy traffic Moscow! Safe. However, it was difficult to understand what he said. Not all the time though. Maybe with the better English we could have gotten more out of the day.

An excellent service. I booked Lingo taxis to and form the airport. They are absolutely superb. I woudl highly recommend this company. English speaking driver. They are helpful, kind and courteous. Arrived in time. Reasonable prices also.
