What a wonderful use of space in a small park. Clean, safe, family friendly paths, grass spaces (with signs saying 'walk on the grass'!), benches, fountains, tree groves, play areas, art-house cinema and crammed full of amazing open-air eateries serving very good food at reasonable prices. 'Foood Bazar' restaurant is particularly good. Highly recommended on a summer evening!

Opened in 1894, this picture-perfect park is totally worth a visit. It isn't overwhelming space-wise to walk around, quiet and very clean. The policy of not walking/sitting on the grass extends to all the gardens in Moscow but it has not spoilt that wonderful experience I had relaxing on one of shaded and numerous benches. There are 3 theatres, open... More

Pretty park, a bit far from the city centre. Not very big, nor famous as some other Moscow parks... Nice place to relax and unwind.

It is not big and not too much activities like gorky. But if you want to stay away from noisy and relax yes this is your place.

The garden itself is very pleasant but the Restaurant "Veranda" should be avoided. We went there on a Friday evening. We sat down at a table and instead of being brought a menu a reserve sign was plonked on our table and we were asked to leave with no explanation. I don't know if it was because I was a... More

Last time I've visited it was in a state of a reconstruction and a bit disorganized. Some entrances and exits open, some not. Some food stalls, there's also a number of theatres. Should try it in winter, along with the natural skating rink, I'm hoping they've improved...

I was there today and general reconstruction of the park is ongoing right now. It seems to me that they will finish reconstruction after next 4-6 weeks (from August 14th, 2014). But in Moscow you never know. By the way in untouched part of park was regular yoga session at 20:00 local time. They are stick to the tradition and... More

Hidden in the small streets but next to Tverskaya, in the very centre. Cosy little park, three theaters and a restaurant. In winter there is a skating spot there. Sometimes you will find exhibitions there and different events. I like this place.
