Great building

There was a lot of building work going on when I was there, so it detracted a little, but still, this is a wonderful example of Soviet Russian architecture.

Worth to see it.Magnificent campus, building! They really invest in education a lot. You can not come in,but you can take photos in fron of it.Whole campus is under the cameras and it's like a small town( students town). Really nice picture of Russia. We love it! 😍

I made the mistake of attending a course lecture at the university while attending a oil/gas structural seminar at the Zonenstein Conference - plan on learning Russian if you attend a course. There are the classic Russian tourist items for sale in-front of the University.

This fantastic place is one of the best ones in Moscow; unfortunately you can not visit the inside of the university and they only let you take a photo with outside of it.

One of Stalin's "Seven Sister Skyscrapers". The architectural design of the main building of Lomonosov Moscow University is stunning. It stands 240 metres tall and 40,000 tonnes of steel were used in its construction. The building is one of the tallest in Europe. It is a magic building in a fantastic setting making for great photos. There are some excellent... More

Majestic, massive, monolithic soviet era building. One of the buildings built in Soviet times commonly known as the Seven Sisters. The University is built on a hill and has a very good viewing platform in front of it for seeing probably the best view of Moscow River and City. Unfortunately the weather was not kind the day we went but... More
