One of Stalin's "Seven Sister Skyscrapers". The architectural design of the main building of Lomonosov Moscow University is stunning. It stands 240 metres tall and 40,000 tonnes of steel were used in its construction. The building is one of the tallest in Europe. It is a magic building in a fantastic setting making for great photos. There are some excellent... More

Majestic, massive, monolithic soviet era building. One of the buildings built in Soviet times commonly known as the Seven Sisters. The University is built on a hill and has a very good viewing platform in front of it for seeing probably the best view of Moscow River and City. Unfortunately the weather was not kind the day we went but... More

Great place for taking photos. Easy to stroll around the area. A look out point is not far away. You can walk up to the main building -- we did not enter. But we were interested in seeing the grounds which include a variety of icons.

It's the proud of Moscow city. Best students become best people of my country. I've graduated it, maybe I'm not the best but quite satisfied with what I have. It's a large terrirory near Universitet metro station and it will take 20 minutes to take tou to the main building. It's mainly the mathymatics faculty. You can't get inside because... More

It would be special if you have a university that is fascinating and great from touristic point of view. I liked to stop and have photos and it is highly recommended to see it as a tourism attraction beside to academic area.
