We've been on the tour "Moscow Walking Tour Through the Eyes of Locals" with Alexandra. It was a truly unique experience. Societ-style Georgian tavern (cheburechnaja), 1st McDonald's, moving buildings - I've never heard about these before. And Alexandra is easygoing and interesting to talk to, she has many fascinating stories to tell. But don't believe me - try it out yourself, you won't regret)

Last week I took a virtual tour of the Siberian village by Zoom! It was a really unique experience. Usually when think about what places in Russia we should visit we primarily think about European part of the country and primarily bigger cities like Moscow, Leningrad, Kazan...etc. Anna was a great guide, she encouraged me also to ask some questions, which she later answered in great detail..What I really liked about the tour is that she gave a personal touch to the tour telling what her parents and relatives do, how do they ended up living there, what are the customs of people, talking about culinary delicacies from that part of Russia and also about traditional beverages. We at the same time got some good historical and geographical insights at the start of the tour which is helpful for those, who are little bit unfamiliar with Russian/Soviet history/geography. I highly recommend taking this tour. You will get a better insights of people's customs in Siberia, enjoy the nature and wonder off a bit from the hectic hyper speed lifestyle of the World's metropolises!

The tour I had was an online tour that took place in a village in Siberia through a video call. It focused on a cozy house and its beautiful surroundings. I enjoyed observing how people would live and go through their day in a remote area with a unique weather throughout the year. It gave me a broad picture of the conditions over there, which was actually way better than my expectations. My guide Anna did a wonderful job making me feel as if I was there in person with the virtual tour. She was kind to answer all my questions I had related to Siberia. We had a couple of minor connection hiccups while touring outside that day due to the windy weather. When the wifi connection was in range, a more stable connection and crisper video was established. For me this adds to the excitement of attending a live broadcast from a very remote and unique area. I have to say it is convenient to observe and explore from the comfort of my seat. Although Siberia is a far away area that requires enough time to be allocated for exploration, surly if I visit the place in person I will be amazed by its sceneries and atmosphere. I hope to have the time to go on such adventure.

Super interesting tour! Anna showed us around her family’s village in Siberia and even into her family’s home. It was great to see the railway line between Moscow (about 4,800 km) and Vladivostok (also about 4,800 km). And in Anna’s home we saw a traditional Russian stove, their cellar and all around the vegetable garden. My highlight, though, was the super cool outside toilet ). This tour will make you want to visit this beautiful part of Russian when we can all travel once again. Highly recommended.

It was my first virtual tour experience and I didn't know what to expect. It turned out to be entertaining, fun and insightful! I learnt a few new things about Russia, life in villages and also about Anna and her family. Indeed, an authentic tour and Anna brings a special vibe to it. Thank you for the tour!
