I rather like the fact that the Russians have come up with this variant on the self-centred trend of hanging padlocks on bridges. It is a happy medium between permitting it to happen and doing it in a way that is non-destructive and artistic at...More

Interesting take on the lover's padlock craze, whereby rather than having them locked onto the bridge itself, the padlocks have been used to create metal "trees" that line the bridge. We saw these as we departed on a boat-trip next to this bridge.

You can pass this bridge on the way to Tretyakov Gallery on Lavrushinsky Lane and enjoy the views over the river Moscow and the Peter the Great Statue. The bridge is nice and in summer there are many different decorations on it.

Used the bridge to cross over from the Christ the saviour church to Muzeon Park. The views were great, it overlooked the Moscow 'city' and the Kremlin.

Wonderful experience. Brought a pad lock and placed it on the bridge in December with out name and anniversary date. Threw the key on the frozen river, so by July I'm sure it'll be at the bottom:) Worth seeing all the amazing, colorful trees.
