The view of the city is amazing form there, especially during the night! This is a perfect spot for shooting night cityscapes. It is also a great spot to admire the impressive Evolution Tower in all its beauty. Finally, the walk from the bottom of the park to the top of the hill is really nice as well.

We were taken by coach to Sparrow Hill, it was a lovely day which I think helped, as you could see for miles. Great photo opportunity to see all around.

Sparrow Hills or Vorobyovy Gory is a place with the observation point where Mr. Bulgakov’s Master and Margarita wished farewell to Moscow and vanished in the darkness on galloping black horses. Right in front of you would be Luzniki Stadium where a fuzzy Olympic Bear tied to thousands of balloons broke many hearts at the closing ceremony of the 1980... More

This is the place for panoramic views of Moscow. From here you realise the size of the city and also realise how well served it is by parks and water. The proximity behind you of the Moscow University complex is in contrast to the view in front of you. The building, by the way, is one of Stalin's Seven Sisters-... More

Nice place for a walk. It has a mini zoo with a few flightless birds and squirrels (sad to see them caged, but they didn't look badly off for being caged). Easy to access as it's right by the river and the metro station.

Get here for the wonderful views of Moscow. And you can visit the park and see one of 7 Sisters up close and personal.

This is a must see if you like nature. Very nice park for a quiet romantic walk. When you climb to the hill by walking through park (woods), you get fantastic view of the city center, modern Moscow to the left and old Moscow on the right side. There are many interesting things in the park, benches, signs, bird feeders...etc.... More

Get there: better by bus then metro, as you need to walk quite a bit from the metro, though if you have time - why not? The red line stops in two different places nearby. Moscow State University with a giant park right in front of it planted with beautiful flowers, mainly tulips, where the peaceful atmosphere is only disturbed... More

Beautiful view of the city with majestic view of Moscow University behind you. It's a great place to take pictures. Be warned however that the fun costumed characters that will offer to take pictures with you require you to be sure to negotiate a price prior to taken any photos. They charge and they are very aggressive to get you... More
