The Bolshoi theater and the ballets they have are just wowowowow. This is the number one place I would recommend in Moscow if not Russia. Just make sure to purchase tickets ahead of time by a few months from the bolshoi’s official website which is...More

Whilst we were not able to see any performances at the theatre, it was a pleasure to visit and view this beautiful place. Majestic facade with fountains and gardens at front.

Not talking about the professional performance. The theater itself is a state of art. You can feel the Soviet style inside and outside. Have to purchase tickets in advance through internet.

It is astonishing and of course a world class famous opera/concert theater. Try making a reservation with months in advance for a concert or opera on its official website. There are also tours during the day.

Let’s put it this way, I wouldn’t wear jeans. It is a lovely outing where people do dress up but not over the top. Smart casual is perfect!
