In winter, try to visit the park in a not too windy day, and do not miss the ice ring. Skating among Russians gives you a taste of living in Moscow. Perfect outdoor family activity.

Winter the park in quiet but still lovely to walk around not so much for children except to play in snow. Coffee shop with clean facilities. Outside art galleries. Statues and the river that runs along thr length of the park. I'm advised lots... More

This place is thriving in summer - thousands of trees and flower beds, nice lakes, rentals, locals everywhere strolling, doing sports, skating, eating etc. Sometimes it even gets overcrowded despite the size, in this case delve further into Neskuchny Sad which is a quiet natural continuation of this green territory which starts at Muzeon Art Park (actually I recommend you... Follow the MOCKBA, down to Gorky park...as Scorpions band sings in one of its famous song. Gorky park serves as the recreational area for Moscovites in summer and in winter as well. In winter, all the park roads are floooded with water so there is one gorgious skate park, one of the best in Moscow (in Sokolniki park there is... More

I heard about this place from my favorite song "Wind of change". I think it's best if you walk down the park alone. I visited in May and it was full of colorful flowers. If you love swans you must go. Big relaxing area. Can't wait to visit another time.

The Gorky Park is a gigantic park along the Moskva River. We had gone there for the river cruise but found that the next cruise was in an hour. Considering we did not have enough time to wait, we decided to just walk along the river ourselves. While walking, we came across these cool Velomobile rentals – this is a... More

Well yes, there were some tress and grassed areas. I wasn't there in summer so saw no flowers or fountains. It wasn't that big. As a country dweller yes, it was a little patch of green in a big city and pleasant for a short stroll.
