Great way to see the city and do all kinds of fun stuff from Red Square and Kremlin to off the beaten path and cozy nooks like Patriarchy Ponds, Coffee Bean coffee shop, beautiful Pyatnitskaya street and its ancient churches and temples. Highly recommended!

Like all super popular tourist places, the beautiful and must-see Red Square has some locals who would try to rip you off. Here it would be some costumed characters - Stalin/Lenin/Nicolas II who would come at you offering to hug/take picture and then demand ridiculous amounts of money for the photo. You see them coming - just ignore them, keep... More

Red Square defines Moscow and the Russian Federation for many people beyond its borders. It is every bit as grand as the photographs depict. Red Square is vast and filled with people, day and night - crowds of friends, families and tourists. If you only had one day in Moscow the spend it here. The extraordinary GUM department store- transformed... More

I had been aware of Red Square and the Kremlin in Moscow pretty much all my life from books, TV news etc.. yet didn't prepare myself as to just how amazing it actually is when your standing there on the cobbles at night when it's all lit up and -6°... The sheer size & scale of the Kremlin walls and... More

Red Square always looks so big when seen on the TV or in the cinema but it's not! Didn't look much bigger than Trafalgar Square. Unfortunately they were getting ready for a commemorative parade the next day and parts of the square were blocked off. I'm glad we visited but a little disappointed after Tianamen Square.
