The facility is new and impressive at first glance. We went hoping to see a show in the main dome and some exhibits so we asked about their schedule and whether anything was in English. We were told at the English speaking ticket window that all shows were in English, great!, so we bought tickets (600ru each) for the next... More

Place seems to be full of entertainment but each one has to be paid separately, which makes the experience quiet limited. We have visited "Trip to the Red Planet" entertainment and would say it's only suitable for under 10's, as it too fake for the older one's. We have chosen to visit interactive science exhibits (just a pick, as we... More

Took our kids there while visiting Moscow. Were unable to buy tickets online using the Canadian-issued cards, had to ask a third party to use his Russian card, and it worked OK. We watched a show in the Great Star Hall, and the experience is unforgettable - the music, the animation, and the information - everything was impeccable. Highly recommended.

We checked out the Lunarium halls with our kids and loved it. Every exhibit is interactive so your kids will have the opportunity to learn about science in a very enjoyable way. The exhibits cover robotics, gravity, leverage etc. Instructions / explanations are in Russian, German, English and Chinese.

We went to the Pink Floyd ' The Wall' evening show . It was terrible as we did not see any of the normal planetarium sky shots ,only phsyadellic movements on the screen .Go to the normal shows only!

I have been there three or four times, always to see different presentations. This is one of my favourite places in Moscow. It's a completely new building, with a beautiful exposition inside (and my favorite is the huge solar sistem that they have inside). The Planetarium, the "device" itself, is modern and makes an incredible projection of planets and stars.... More

My husband and I came here with our 8-month old baby who is in a stroller. No ramps at the entrance - had to carry the stroller up the stairs; lots of stairs inside, no ramps. No place to leave the stroller either (we were offered to leave it just outside - no thanks) - originally we wanted just to... More

Proud that we now have this kind of museums in Russia - for many years only experinced this in London. Lots of interactive activities, outstanding look and feel, tons of kids fun, excellent universe-related movies in the Dome! We celebrated our kid's birthday with 10 of his small friends there, they had a learning quest for them with the guide... More

....but I enjoyed it anyway. I really recommend their movies, really impressive. I would do another round there for the movie about black holes.

Staying in Presnensky

Neighborhood Profile
The neighborhood is divided into two major halves by Krasnaya Presnya street: the southern part highlights Moscow city – businesses contained in skyscrapers along with the White House - where the Russian government works. The north is a bit more relaxed and casual, visitors here will find the Moscow zoo, National Centre for Contemporary Arts and a number of fine restaurants. The beautiful neo-gothic Cathedral of the Roman Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is usually packed with the events such as organ music concerts.
