Last time I visited (August 2014) I loved the place. This time, unfriendly and overpriced - bought two discs for 3100 roubles that I found out later (unfortunately) that I could have bought on Amazon for less than half that! I asked about vinyl - all covered up - through translator I understood it needed to be graded!? Won't be... More

Buried in a back alley off Tverskaya in the centre of Moscow, this is heaven for the music collector! Superb stock, many rarities, decent prices. Largest stock of imported Japanese CDs I have ever witnessed. Great specialist sections for The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. First place on my agenda when I hit Moscow next time!

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighborhood Profile
Tverskaya
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
