Whilst studying Russian at Liden and Denz in Moscow I am living in Kuzminki with my Russian friend and LOVE my local park. It is huge, has the most beautiful lake, lots of events and modern planting as well as wild woodland. It is clean and well kept, full of bike hires and shashlik, play areas and fitness equipment and... More

The park is really nice. We often come here, as our friends live nearby. An oasis among concrete blocks of bedroom districts. Getting there is tricky. You shouldn't stick to Kuzminki metro station. Get to Volzhskaya metro station, on a different line. The park is right across street. Avoid visiting it over the weekends, then the park is just swamped... More

From the Volzskaya metro stop (light green line)...you must go under the street and enter the park there. For the outdoor boxing and workout area, head to the left, skirting the fence. There are many trails, but about a 5 minute walk from where the fence turns you should head right, into the woods. In 2 minutes you should see... More

I live near this city park and I spent all my childhood and youth walking there two-five times a week. It has very lovely scenery, many ponds, The House of Ded Moroz (russian Santa Claus) and a lot of trees;). Every year I make lot of photos here, from winter to autumn. And every season is very beautiful in Kuzminky.

I live nearby, so it is my usual stralling destination. The park is neglected and overcrowded, but still it has some slight charm of the past epochs. Needs much restoration and great care. Best time to visit - autumn (fall), maybe winter. Avoid it in early spring, you'll see all the dirt and garbage.
