My friend and I went on a four-hour bike tour with Vado, who very kindly showed us around the city. Moscow is such a huge city - too big to walk on foot and too crowded to drive - so the bike tour really is an efficient way (and healthy way) to see the city! He brought us to many... More

Thank you so much Vado. We absolutely can't rave enough about how great the tour was. Three of us started at 11pm on a Friday night and finished our tour of a buzzing, vibrant Moscow at 4am Saturday. Vado took us all over the city, gave us a history lesson from a Moscow local who loves his city. Great tour,... More

I love bike tours and never fail to hop on a bike in the various places travelled to. I did the evening tour in Moscow and Vado did not disappoint!! Great communication throughout from booking, and then also on the day as an incoming storm was threatening to impact our trip, but we shifted it earlier and had an amazing... More

For any first time visitors to Moscow, I will fully recommend the bike tour with Vado. We took the grand city tour and we fully enjoyed it. Riding bikes and exploring different areas of Moscow and even stopping by a really really great bakery and cafe. Vado is great fun and approachable and made us feel welcome.

What a top tour of Moscow. Our guide Vado greeted us with a big smile and got us on our way quickly. Massive choice of styles and sizes of bikes all in great working order. The tour we chose was the Moscow Night Tour that started just after 7pm. Vado set a steady pace and constantly monitored us and the... More

My wife and I only had a few days to see Moscow. I had enjoyed bike tours of other cities in Europe so we decided to try "Moscow Bike Tours". After scheduling the "Grand Moscow Bike Tour", we met our guide, "Vado" at their headquarters in the city. Vado was friendly, professional and courteous from the first step and didn't... More

Had a great tour all around Moscow. Covering so much more on a bike than I could on foot. Helped me get my bearings/orientation to the city for the rest of the stay. Highly recommend. I did it on a Sunday in July so the traffic was low. Lots of fun and Vado a great guide. Easy to find starting... More

This was a great tour. Vado, the guide, was very professional and was flexible to do what we wanted. The riding was easy enough and it meant you got to see parts of Moscow you could never see on your own or on a walking tour.

I booked this Park and Nature of Moscow Bike tour a month before my family trip to Moscow in June 2015. I am so glad we did. It was a wonderful experience and a highlight of our Moscow visit. Vado, our tour guide--the owner of Moscow Bike Tours is a polite, energetic, knowledgeable local young man. He grew up in... More

My wife and I did the day-long around Moscow tour with Vado and it was one of the best travel experience we've had. We bike a lot, but the prospect of biking around a car-filled city of 12 million was bit daunting. Somehow Vado has managed to find a way to, literally, circumnavigate the city and its most interesting sites... More

Staying in Zamoskvorechye

Neighborhood Profile
It wouldn’t be a mistake to call Pyatnitskaya street the main axis of this neighborhood – turn one direction and you’ll find the Tretyakov Gallery in Lavrushinsky Lane, turn another – a hip Scandinavian restaurant. Old churches now embrace contemporary life with style and grace. Going to Zamoskvorechye is like visiting during the times when it was a medieval Russian quarter, but with a modern twist of 20th century buildings pushing themselves into the 21st century with new businesses opening weekly. Stroll down Pyatnitskaya to taste dozens of global cuisines – from Ukrainian and Georgian to Thai and American.
