We contacted the team at Timisoara City Tours for a private customized 1 day trip from Timisoara to Castle Corvin and Prislop monastery and they were very prompt and professional to organize the tour for my mom and me. Our guide Roberta made us feel like we were travelling with a friend, while also providing extremely interesting historical information and being a very safe driver. We would recommend this local team to everybody

We booked a city tour with Ludovic in order to get to know about Timisoara and its history. We found more than we expected: an informed guide, a nice route in the city, interesting facts about history, architecture of Timisoara’s buildings and society.
I truly loved the city and I totally recommend Ludovic and his tours!

It was on my list for a long time. And it did not disappoint.
I already had a short wish list but i let Ludovic, my guide, to walk me wherever he felt worth a stop. And although i came with a specific request for art nouveau style, we managed to have a very complex tour for abt 5 hours in different neighborhoods covering so many aspects (cultural, historical and religious).
It was the best way to explore the area and to really really love it from the first encounter.
I had so many questions and he had all the answers. Now i really want to return to explore some more.

I can say this is my favorite part during my timisoara visit .... I went with Sergiu ( the orginzer of the trip ) to this place and he is just amazing as the place is ... The journey was very comfortable and Sergiu is having th best driving skills so I don't have to worry .. we almost drove 500+ kms and covered all the places mentioned in the itinerary ... I would say don't miss this if you're in Timisoara ❤️

I participate today to an amazing city tour with Ludovic. If some would tell me that we will spend 4 hours walking in Timisoara and we will find out a lot of new things about our city, I wouldn’t believe.
It was a pleasure to listen Ludovic. He really loves his job, he is doing this with a lot of passion and he is knows everything about Timisoara. I recommend to everybody a Timisoara City Tour with Ludovic.

Vic is a great guide, who can tell you the best stories about the history of Timisoara and not only the ones that one can find in history books, but also nice details about beautiful houses and places, or about some personalities of the city. He is very passionate about his work and this reflects in his city tours or other tours in Banat.

I highly recommend the tour “One Day in Transylvania” with Iulian of Timisoara City Tours. I spent a lovely day and learned a lot from Iulian about the Romanian history, culture, daily life, and also had a lot of fun. The tour included important cultural sites, which are well chosen as the landmarks of the Romanian history. First we have visited archeological site Ulpia Traiana Sarmizegetusa, the capital of the Roman Dacia, with well preserved Amphitheatre, several temples and various buildings. The next was the 6-7th century Densuș Church, the oldest church in Romania, with interesting architecture, since it was built on the site of the older Dacian and then Roman temple, and in 15th century it was painted with some quite rare frescoes. On our way to Hunedoara, we have passed through the village with a private ethnographic museum and stopped to take a photo with a mini dinosaur replica in the Hațeg Country Dinosaurs Geopark. After delicious lunch at the Restaurant Werk, we have visited amazing Hunedoara or Castelul Corvinilor, the 15th century castle of John Hunyadi. On our way back to Timisoara, we took the funicular to get to the top of the renovated Fortress of Deva. For Iulian I have only words of praise, since he is truly outstanding guide. He was not only a friendly companion, relaxed, smart, fun, but also exceptionally well prepared, with lots of maps and books with pictures to illustrate his stories, knowledgeable in so many different areas, and even adding stories from personal experience and making connections to the Serbian history, culture, and linguistics, which I particularly appreciate. So my sincere thanks to Iulian for this wonderful excursion, and looking forward to the next tour, following the steps of Iancu de Hunedoara and Baba Novac to Sibiu, Alba Iulia and Cluj someday.

I really enjoyed my walking tour with Lulian. He is a nice person who shared lot of historical information appropriately in a right sequence and made this walking tour very interesting. Even though we walked almost 2.5 hours, I never felt boring as he took it perfectly. I strongly recommend this tour package and I hope to explore this beautiful city again!!!!

This tour was a lot of fun. We have been a many food tours but this one was the best. Roberta was an amazing guide and very knowledgable about the local cuisine and history. She knew all the best spots we couldn't have found on our own. Thanks Roberta!

Who's the best guide in Timisoara? We needed a driver and someone who spoke the language. Ludovic was wonderful and he was a walking history book. He's knowledgeable, cares about his customers, He is willing to tailor his tour for you. He introduced us to the highlights of Timisoara and Transylvania, as well as our ancestor in the Banat Region.
