It's a nice church located close to the Taylor's Bastion. You can admire it great walls and also admire its great simplicity inside. It's worth taking a guided tour to find out more about its history and the history of the local Hungarian community.

The church is located on Kogalniceanu Street close to the main building of Babes-Bolyai University. There are many historical buildings in the area you can admire and you can also see the Statue of Saint George at main entrance. The restoration works are over and you can admire it both outside and inside. Worth stopping by.

The reformed church may not be as opulent as some of the other churches around, but it is unrivalled in its calmness. It has lovely glasswork and has a fantastic collection of insignias. It now houses the Romanian pedagogic institute. The statue of St George outiside is unique. There is no entrance fee, but you would probably want to donate something as the church will give you a sense of deep serenity.

The Reformed Church on Ulița Lupilor (today: 21 Mihail Kogălniceanu Street) in Cluj-Napoca, in the immediate vicinity of the Tailors' Bastion, is one of the most valuable Gothic buildings in Transylvania, being built between 1486-1516.
Well-maintained construction, emblematic for the reformed community of Cluj. It has a famous organ, a very good acoustics for organ concerts.

I was lucky to pass by this impeccably renovated 17th Century church just before an evening organ recital, and was kindly invited to attend by receiving staff.
When in Cluj, I recommend making a stop here. It is near the Tailor's Tower and it's surviving wall, and just down the street from the University - a charming area.
It seems that these church concerts are not widely publicized, so stop in and have a look for flyers or ask the multilingual staff.

This is a church near the Tailors Tower and the City Walls. In the former cloisters of the Jesuit monastery is an exhibition space at the moment with a monstrosity collection of statues. The organ was being played by a woman who arrived at the church at the same time as I did.

This is a stunning fortress church built in the gothic style, 450 years old. Apparently. They restored it a couple of years ago and now, whilst very pretty, it looks like it was built literally, last week.

Tucked away in a small quiet area only a few blocks away from the main square, I visited this towering church en route to the nearby Taylor's Bastion. The new renovations made my visit very enjoyable from the inside but what really caught my attention was the crisp facade from outside. Inside, there is a large collection of various coats of arms pertaining to the nobility of Transylvania, a tall rococo organ and a beautifully sculpted renaissance pulpit. There is also a very helpful and cooperative tour guide at the entrance who speaks English, which gave my visit an educational touch as well.

For me was very interesing to look at old blazons inside church. I m historical and i was really happy to learn new and see old pictures and decor. My collection of photos become bigger!

This is another church newly renovated and very close to the old town walls.
