It's an iconic statue located in Piata Unirii. You can't miss it while visiting Cluj. It's a great reminder of a glorious past and a great king.

This is the main plaza of the city. Once you check out this area, head to Regele Ferdinand street, where you'll find a big reddish-brownish building called CENTRAL; on ground floor you'll find the greatest souvenirs shop in all Romania, it's called "Transylvania The Land Beyond The Forest". Awesome products!

It's located in Unirii Square near St Michael's church. It's at a few minutes walk from the house where the king was born. A must see for all who visit Cluj. It's probably one of the most photographed attractions of the city.

It's locate in the main square and it is the zero point of Cluj.
The ensemble is composed of five monumental statues representing the King Matthias and his four generals.

This statue is almost perfect. Is the original statue that won the 1`st place in Paris in 1900 at Ünivesal Exhibition. One local guide (and you can find a lot of them) can speak only about this statue for almost an hour. So this si a must when you are in Cluj. Is located exactly in the city center, in Unirii square.

One of the most important figures in the history of this region, the statue is impressive. Set against the grand church and within the lovely central square, this statue is almost the identity of Cluj-Napoca. The statue speaks of a glorious history and will definitely give you a feel of the past.

It is difficult to miss this statue as it is located alongside a busy street. Take your time to wander around- the surrounds transform beautifully at night and makes for excellent photo opportunities!
