I have been to the National Theater for theater plays, opera and music concerts. It is a beautiful and majestic building. I am grateful for the variety of shows hosted in here, suitable for all ages. The last show was the Opera "The Barber of Seville" and small children were attending together with young people and older ones. Usually the... More

We love this place. Whenever we have the opportunity to visit Cluj we reserve a place at the theatre. The grandeur of this place and its history makes you feel as if in another world. Last time we were at Swan Lake and we were deeply impressed. We look forward to return very soon.

This centennial+ building just downtown is emblematic for Cluj; decidedly it should be renovated inside, but outside looks well. Nice opera and theater shows; unfortunately closed in summertime.

The peculiarity I most love of Cluj / Romania, generally speaking, is that you can become cultured even if you are not wealthy. In comparison with other countries (more developed ones), here you can go at theatre, manifestation, show, etc at a very low price. In Cluj one can find all sort of activities. Many of them, free ! It's... More

Highly recommend this place for theatre lovers but not only as the Theatre stage hosts also ballet, opera, dance and other forms or art. The building itself is of great architectural and historical value.

Teh national theater is located in the center of Cluj opposite ot the cathedral at the Eroilor boulevard. It is a great neo-baroque architectur and fits well into the surounding archtiecture. I woudl have loved to see the in side but apparentyl it was closed on a Saturday morning and it seem you can onyl get in for a performance
