The first time I went to this spa, I got a 1 1/2 hr body massage. I was very satisfied with the service as the masseuse asked questions on how I wanted my massage. My back was aching so I had her concentrate on that area. I gave her 30% tip which she deserved as I felt relaxed and better after the massage.

It's the second time that I went to this spa left a bitter taste on me. Since I was happy with my first massage with them, I decided to book another massage two weeks later. As soon as I entered the lobby, the lady manager greeted us (me and a friend) rudely. She asked who we were and when she found out that we were late for an appointment she suddenly raised her voice. Granted that we were indeed 45 minutes late, but she definitely had no right no yell/shout at us in front of other guests. We were basically dumbfounded and stared at her open-mouthed as she went on about us being late, not calling that we would be late, and arriving one person less (we reserved a massage for 3 people). She even commented that she won't be acceptiing anymore reservations from us in the future. After that outburst, she did let us in to the room to have our massage (which was excellent).

I have no complaints with regards to the service. The major issue I have is that the manager (who should know better) clearly does not know "customer hospitality." I hope she learns how to properly deal with her customers. If not, then she should be taking a course/seminar as she clearly lacks the skills to properly deal with customers. I'm sure I am not the only one she has unleashed her unfounded wrath. She is the only blemish to an otherwise respectable and good business. I fear that if she doesn't get called out, she will be the cause of the spa's downfall.

They are in the service industry, and should be fully aware that they should treat their customers with courtesy and respect.
