It’s a new activity that we brought to the island. It’s easy, very inclusive as anyone who can walk can easily get on the board. It empowers the kids because they can get on it easily. Our oldest rider by far is 75 years old and he had lots of fun. The board is very safe, very balanced and easy but with the cardio benefits.

Located at the old areas of the city, this street has a lot to offer: neoclassical buildings, shops, fast foods restaurants, busy traffic, etc. It is more authentic here! I enjoyed my visit.

Reminiscent of times when life was not so hectic. The buzz and energy is high but not aggressively so. Still a lot of local enterprises with a few national chains mixed in. Charming in the way old towns and neighborly folks are.

We visited during our city tour of Iloilo. This street is now called JM Basa Street and was the old CBD and is the famous heritage street of Iloilo. Royal Street as it was known stretches from Plazoleta Gay up to Plaza Libertad. You will find many heritage buildings along this street dating back to the 1920's. Well worth strolling this heritage street.

Not a museum, a noisy dirty car traffic filled busy street but it has real character next to the river and you can take photos and meet locals, shop, massage, walk to the river etc.
