My goodness we travelled nearly 2 hours from waterfront hotel just to see this. The taxi driver talked us out. There is nothing much to it but the statue itself. So unless you are a history geek, you'd go all the ways. Be careful of...More

it's a beautiful place but in 5 minutes you have seen everything. just if you are close to. It's historical monument and near the Magallanes Shrine.

the park is clean, well groomed. The best part, there is no entrance fee to get in. Feel safe to walk around. There are restaurants around if you crave for seafood.

When touring Cebu, you should not let this one pass. It is believed to be the place where the legendary battle between Lapu-lapu and Magellan took place. The entrance is free and there are a lot of souvenir stores you can choose from.

Enjoyed my visit to see this monument. Unfortunately, there are a few people (peddlers) posing as tour guides which is a little daunting. Otherwise, nice to see this site dedicated to the national hero and warrior Lapu Lapu.

A nice small park. Good for a stop and a break during Cebu city tour. Better with a guide who will tell you the story of the place. Walk down to the sea.

We took a tour of Cebu City which stopped off here enroute. Not nearly as interesting as the old Spanish fort.
