Do a short stroll around the park. Lots of shady trees. Get to see and enjoy Davao's own famous artist. Kublai Millan's sculptures. Nice respite from the asphalt jungle of Davao City.

I love it here since you can walk around with the family without having to worry about anything. Admission is free, the place is clean, nobody is allowed to smoke and you can have gatherings here. Definitely a place to visit at least once for non locals.

Though I have been to Davao many times but I never visited that place except for my last visit because a friend of mine insisted. The park was a child friendly. I love the rainbow color of the floor when you reach entrance. The sculpture of eagles and children playing was nice. People there, loved to sit and listen to the music played in the park.

They are strict with their security. You can't bring bottled water or a cigarette, lighter. You must leave it at the entrance and claim it when you decide to leave the park. Well, someone who is new to Davao must visit this place. Its just around the downtown, near to the restaurants and hospitals.

i was looking forward to visit this park when i visit davao city. i was disappointed when i got there, the park was still closed for public since the pandemic started. part of the front portion of the park is used by the city government as a vaccination site for the people of davao who wants to get vaccinated.

I have been here a couple of times and it's not a place I long to go back to. If you go here once you won't miss it, unless you are filipino. Karaoke, a couple of bars (some with plastic chairs) and some restaurants. I'm an active guy who likes to do something when I'm out. Everything from fuss ball, billiard, bowling, dart or whatever, and I don't need to be any good at it. There's a stage in there somewhere where some filipino singers are entertaining, like anywhere else in town. I don't remember much from this place, only that I am trying to get as drunk as possible while I look at filipinos babbling around the table and I don't understand a word. If you are an educated and active foreigner with academic background with love for art, music, science and similar, then this is not the "park" for you. If you go here to meet some local girls or sit one a chair drinking beer, then you're in the right place. It's a party place for locals to sing and drink.

This has been one of the cleanest parks I've ever visited within the Philippines.

Well-maintained gardens, fishponds. You can relax on a bench under the shade of the big trees.

Park is open to everyone but they have a daily schedule. Normally open between 05:30 early morning til noontime the re-opens past 13:00.

this was on our must do places to visit but was a let down, the park is poorly maintained with many of the fountains just rusting away, I wouldn't waste my time going there

Nothing special about this. Escape the noise a bit and stretch. Looks like communist style. Nearby lots of little stores, watch out for potholes everywhere, traffic, pickpockets...

A place to relax. This Park was developed during President Duterte's time as Mayor of Davao and true to his personality did not want to be memorialized by having the park named after him so it was called the Peoples Park. Starting to show signs of wear and tear and is in need of some repairs and maintenance but is a peace place to visit
