The price of fruits is so cheap. Lansones for 30/kl., Durian for 30/kl., Mangosteen for 50/kl. Just wow! It feels like I wanna live here, everything is delicious! 😋 It's just that the place looks so messy since the market is already old.

Palengke's here in the Philippines almost has all the staples important in a Filipino household - rice, fish, vegetables, meat, poultry, charcoal, flowers, fruits, houseware. Just know how to ask and most likely it is available.

Bankerohan market is both easy to find just off San Pedro Street and a very interesting contrast to the cool and well maintained Malls to be found in every city. Bankerohan is at its busiest in the morning when the vegetable, fruit and meat sections...More

I would think it would depend on what it is you are going there to buy. There's a dry goods section, reasonably priced, with consistent and inexpensive goods. But we went early, since I was looking for seafood and fruit... More
