Went as a fun activity with workmates. The room we tried was alright, had a couple puzzles to solve, and even made it to the last one! There were a few times where we wasted a clue since we were basically told to just check again since we were on the right track. We felt that if some of the equipment worked properly we would have finished. Friendly advice: fix the interiors of your rooms before making them accessible to the public. Overall, not a bad experience.

We wanted to try something new. This was definitely a great idea. We solved the mystery and had the then time (54 mins) of our lives. We will be back soon to try more mystery.

Tried Sinister Sensorium and had so much fun with my friends! The puzzles were challenging but not impossible to solve and it was a different kind of experience overall. Definitely something you shouldn't miss doing when you're looking for something new to do aside from usual movie out or dinner out with friends. Ideally you need a team of 5 to be able to enjoy it to the fullest (at least in my opinion).

The biggest mystery is how this place can have such good reviews.

This place was so lame it's not even funny.
The so called "mystery room" was just a few laminated papers with poorly designed "riddles" to solve.
The rooms lacked any forms of theme or decor apart from differently sized chairs.
No interactive objects other than a few keys and padlocks.
This "mystery room" could just as well have been done on paper without even going there.
Besides, AFTER paying and signing our lives away we were informed that we had to leave our belongings in a locker outside. Why would I trust my valuable items with their locker?
Also, they don't allow you to take photos inside except from with their own camera.
They probably put the photos on their Facebook page without the guests' permission.

A total waste of time, dignity and money!

This was the most pathetic escape room I have been to. They have 3 here, we tried two. It is cheap and you can actually bargain, I guess they aren't usually booked, no one else came in the over 2 hours we were there.

Rooms are very very small and you mainly spend time searching for tiny clues instead of using critical thinking.

The ghost room is dark and you only get a flashlight so I would suggest only bringing 2 people here... and it's small.

I tried two rooms. Both were puzzles of finding the code then opening a lock with the code. There was no mystery. There was no story. There was no technology. There was no escape. There was little logic to the puzzles. Mystery Manila gave me the impression in marketing of some interesting story to unfold, or special effects, or escape rooms. It has none of this. The staff look uninterested and struggle to find any enthusiasm. Just opening locks with a number or word puzzle. At the price they charge, I would call the place a scam.

First time to do a Mystery Room experience. We weren't sure what to expect. Our Mystery was well designed and scary (the doll one) and it required unlocking tons of padlocks. In the end it was fun but the price was a bit much for 60 minutes. I understand if you need a certain amount of time to reorganize the room for the next group and over 60 minutes is not possible so I'd suggest a lower price. I'd also suggest the option for the players to know their progress. You get unlimited clues but we didn't want to keep asking for clues since we felt we were close to the end but it turns out we were very behind haha. Knowing our progress would give the players a better idea of when they should request a clue instead of ending the game stuck way before finish it.

Also, I see no incentive to finish quickly (just a shirt if you finish in under 30 minutes). I would offer getting to play another room if you finish that quickly (and have no added time from hints). Or getting a 50% discount for another room right then and there. Because of this we happily took our time to enjoy the experience because we didn't need a T-Shirt.

Overall, a good one time experience. If the price was less we would do it again. But it's not so we'll enjoy other entertainment options in the city.

Mystery Manila is a great way to spend an hour (or less if you finish fast) with friends. It's engaging and requires teamwork if you want to finish fast.

We finished the World of Wizardry Puzzle with time to spare but ran into trouble due hard to open locks. The Jupiter branch is a bit dilapidated but it felt more genuine as a mystery site than the Century Mall branch. Lots of parking in front of the building but we went there at night so be prepared to have a difficult time parking during office hours.

We went to the Century City Mall branch and tried out Mystery Manila for the first time. It was me and my best friends. We chose the Sinister Sensorium and it was such a blast. I was a bit disappointed with the design of the room as it was a bit bland, but the unique concept of the challenge and how you need teamwork made up for it. Two thumbs up for this challange. Definitely recommended.

What I like about this place is the immersion value that their rooms provide. To give you a good example in what I mean, doing Rebecca's Room and Rebecca's Revenge (even in the morning) made me forget that it's broad daylight outside because of how immersive the atmosphere gets. Doing Crime of the Century, I (at one point) forgot that I was in a mall as I was scrambling to stop a bomb from going off. That should give you an idea.

There are many rooms that cater to all interests. If you love getting scared, Rebecca's Room and Rebecca's Revenge are there. For fans of fantasy, you've got Pym Particle (for Marvel fans) and World of Wizardry (for Harry Potter fans). For those who seek a challenge, Virtual Voyage is a must. Otherwise, if you're looking to have a good time with your friends, Sinister Sensorium might be fun to try out.(actually, all rooms are!)

The staff is also very friendly and very accommodating. You may ask clues if you get stuck, to make sure that you end up with smiles on your face after the game, whether you solve it or not. The booking process is easy and very convenient, and the personnel really get involved with the discussion involved during the debriefing phase (which shows their passion and involvement in the creation of the rooms and the establishment itself).

Overall, highly recommended. Take your friends with you, and bring your team along. You'll definitely have a fun and memorable experience. :)
