    Best anniversary date we had.
We wanted to try something new. This was definitely a great idea. We solved the mystery and had the then time (54 mins) of our lives. We will be back soon to try more mystery.
Thank you Henry! We hope to see you again in one of our branches.

    Fun bonding with friends! :)
Tried Sinister Sensorium and had so much fun with my friends! The puzzles were challenging but not impossible to solve and it was a different kind of experience overall. Definitely something you shouldn't miss doing when you're looking for something new to do aside from usual movie out or dinner out with friends. Ideally you need a team of 5 to be able to enjoy it to the fullest (at least in my opinion).

Mystery Manila is a great way to spend an hour (or less if you finish fast) with friends. It's engaging and requires teamwork if you want to finish fast. We finished the World of Wizardry Puzzle with time to spare but ran into trouble due hard to open locks. The Jupiter branch is a bit dilapidated but it felt more genuine as a mystery site than the Century Mall branch. Lots of parking in front of the building but we went there at night so be prepared to have a difficult time parking during office hours.

This was the most pathetic escape room I have been to. They have 3 here, we tried two. It is cheap and you can actually bargain, I guess they aren't usually booked, no one else came in the over 2 hours we were there.

Rooms are very very small and you mainly spend time searching for tiny clues instead of using critical thinking.

The ghost room is dark and you only get a flashlight so I would suggest only bringing 2 people here... and it's small.

I tried two rooms. Both were puzzles of finding the code then opening a lock with the code. There was no mystery. There was no story. There was no technology. There was no escape. There was little logic to the puzzles. Mystery Manila gave me the impression in marketing of some interesting story to unfold, or special effects, or escape rooms. It has none of this. The staff look uninterested and struggle to find any enthusiasm. Just opening locks with a number or word puzzle. At the price they charge, I would call the place a scam.

First time to do a Mystery Room experience. We weren't sure what to expect. Our Mystery was well designed and scary (the doll one) and it required unlocking tons of padlocks. In the end it was fun but the price was a bit much for 60 minutes. I understand if you need a certain amount of time to reorganize the room for the next group and over 60 minutes is not possible so I'd suggest a lower price. I'd also suggest the option for the players to know their progress. You get unlimited clues but we didn't want to keep asking for clues since we felt we were close to the end but it turns out we were very behind haha. Knowing our progress would give the players a better idea of when they should request a clue instead of ending the game stuck way before finish it.

Also, I see no incentive to finish quickly (just a shirt if you finish in under 30 minutes). I would offer getting to play another room if you finish that quickly (and have no added time from hints). Or getting a 50% discount for another room right then and there. Because of this we happily took our time to enjoy the experience because we didn't need a T-Shirt.

Overall, a good one time experience. If the price was less we would do it again. But it's not so we'll enjoy other entertainment options in the city.

We went to the Century City Mall branch and tried out Mystery Manila for the first time. It was me and my best friends. We chose the Sinister Sensorium and it was such a blast. I was a bit disappointed with the design of the room as it was a bit bland, but the unique concept of the challenge and how you need teamwork made up for it. Two thumbs up for this challange. Definitely recommended.

What I like about this place is the immersion value that their rooms provide. To give you a good example in what I mean, doing Rebecca's Room and Rebecca's Revenge (even in the morning) made me forget that it's broad daylight outside because of how immersive the atmosphere gets. Doing Crime of the Century, I (at one point) forgot that I was in a mall as I was scrambling to stop a bomb from going off. That should give you an idea.

There are many rooms that cater to all interests. If you love getting scared, Rebecca's Room and Rebecca's Revenge are there. For fans of fantasy, you've got Pym Particle (for Marvel fans) and World of Wizardry (for Harry Potter fans). For those who seek a challenge, Virtual Voyage is a must. Otherwise, if you're looking to have a good time with your friends, Sinister Sensorium might be fun to try out.(actually, all rooms are!)

The staff is also very friendly and very accommodating. You may ask clues if you get stuck, to make sure that you end up with smiles on your face after the game, whether you solve it or not. The booking process is easy and very convenient, and the personnel really get involved with the discussion involved during the debriefing phase (which shows their passion and involvement in the creation of the rooms and the establishment itself).

Overall, highly recommended. Take your friends with you, and bring your team along. You'll definitely have a fun and memorable experience. :)

An experience to try with your friends. We tried the Sinister Sensorium and soon found ourselves immersed in an adventure modelled on the horror movie, Saw. Without giving too much away, it was a challenging puzzle that our group quickly got completely immersed in. The challenges were slightly tricky, so work together to get out of the room alive.

You don't need to bring anything, other than a sense of adventure and there is a storage area to keep bags, smartphones etc.

The venue is located on Jupiter Street next to a Starbucks. Parking is available for customers of the cafe. We told the guards that we were going to buy a coffee later and they let us park while we were on the adventure.

Have fun!

My siblings and I booked Debby's Doll at Mystery Manila's Century Mall Branch at 4:00. We solved the mystery and felt so bitin that we had to do another one. Thus, we went to Jupiter Branch and booked Rebecca's Room at 7:30. We also solved that one.

It was one of the best weekends that my siblings ever had. Can't wait to try the other mysteries this coming weekend.

Our first mystery room and I really wanted something that will challenge my deductive abilities.

Alas, the room we chose wasn't exactly that challenging - felt it was for school children. Murder mystery is more my forte so this scientific one was really just for remembering science school stuff.

And we got not much help at all - the staff assigned to us seemed bored with what he was doing and so his disinterest sort of rubbed off on us. We really didn't have fun - we were just worried too much we were running out of time.

Hope there are some new rooms soon - more exciting for adults this time. Surely older people can solve mysteries too. Think "Murder She Wrote"and "Queen of Mysteries" instead of just "Nancy Drew."

I went with coworkers to Mystery Manila Century Mall branch. Basically, the game locks you up in a room and it's up to you and your friends and some mad mystery solving skills to figure out how to get out of it under 60 minutes.

I loved every minute of it. It was my first time to try Mystery Manila and fortunately (with much pride and relief) we solved it and were able to get out the room in time.

Players get the option to choose what theme their "mystery" is. We picked Debby's Doll, which was inspired by the horror movie, Annabelle (probably not the best choice for the fainthearted but we were all stubbornly daring). We asked the statistics of each theme and apparently, Debby's Doll was one of the most challenging with ~30% solving rate. Quite understandable really as not only are you battling against time pressure, but there was also fear pressure (wink) as the room was incredibly creepy.

I truly think that the money and time at this place were well spent. Definitely I recommend this for groups of friends, as it really brings out how you collectively work together.

I went with a group of co-workers and we had a blast! There are multiple different escape room challenges to choose from. We chose the wizarding one. Each challenge is run by a game master who observes and guides you at the appropriate times. There are goals that need to be accomplished, but to finish a goal you must find many different clues and draw from things you find and from knowledge in your head. For example, we had to create a potion for one of our challenges but needed to figure out a way to precisely measure the volume of liquid without the right size measuring tools...yes, there is a way!

If you're up for a fun challenge with friends and like solving puzzles, then I definitely recommend Mystery Manila!
