- kikilala15 contributionsNeeds a MakeoverThe Landmark Makati has been around for as long as I can remember. So long that I know that things have been the same for quite some time with only a few minor changes around the store. Here are some things I think would benefit from improvement: a.) Checking out at any counter here feels like I am stuck in the 80's, and not in a good way. I've had many encounters with having to wait 15-30 minutes just because they run out of receipt paper or because they have to have them get more staples to staple my shopping bag. They need to step up their game with their choices of available payment methods and get new credit card terminals so shoppers can check out faster and more conveniently. b.) The sales assistants here mostly do one of two things: Either stand around talking and zoning out, or hounding some poor customer till they get either uncomfortable or annoyed. c.) The grocery and food court can get pretty busy and is almost always crowded. As a result I see a lot of broken flooring, cracked or dented tables and a lot of pests like flies and cockroaches. I have also observed that the grocery here barely has variety when it comes to fruits. Mostly just apples, oranges, grapes and watermelon at best. d.) The layout of the store ould be more organized and easier to navigate. Just because it is at a good location and is heavily visited doesn't mean it is an excuse to delay necessary rennovation/improvements.Visited January 2020Traveled as a coupleWritten January 9, 2020
- ChanwengcheongCyberjaya, Malaysia462 contributionsGreat Value for MoneyUpmarket? Nope. The average mall that has lots of value items? A clear yes. There’s 4 different floors catering to your everything and it’s not pricey at all, in fact, it’s value for money. Great bargain I would say and it doesn’t look dodgy nor shabby, and the footfall for this mall is amazing especially when it connects Greenbelt to Glorietta seamlessly! It even has a grocer at the lower ground.Visited December 2019Traveled as a coupleWritten January 5, 2020
- BernieCanada362 contributionsGood Priced StoreLandmark Department is my favorite place to shop. It has a wide variety of local products and international brands at very reasonable prices. Products are organized, easy to find. Sales staffs are helpful and polite. From my experience, prices is lower by 10 -20%. The supermarket is medium size and located at the basement where the food stalls are. Grocery products are not properly arranged and sort out. It’s good the staffs are willing to help customers. The prices of most products are cheaper by approx 5 to 15%. For me, Landmark prices are unbeatable. The bathrooms are neat and tidy. The fitting rooms are clean. For commuters, there’s a jeep terminal station across the exit door facing Makati Avenue.Visited February 2023Traveled with familyWritten March 3, 2023
- Cay3 contributionsunhelpful salespersonI was trying to find a website for this and I guess they dont have an official one. I just wanted to voice my concern about some employees of Landmark specifically in beauty or hygiene section. I went and ask a loofah(body scrub). This saleslady just pointed where they are coz she is busy chatting with another saleslady. I have to ask for another salesguy who eventually helped us. Second time I come back, I went to shop for a manicure set so I can clean my nails by myself and not be exposed to covid. So I went to look for a nail color. There are 2 salesladies busy rearranging the shelves. Not even one of them asked what I'm looking for. Neither look at me. Instead, they think I am a distraction, not even let me in their way so I could pick my nail color. I didn't make a big deal and just shrug it off coz with the Pandemic going on, who wants a person lose their jobs? Third time, I was at the shoe section. The saleslady seems like she is ready to go leave since it was 7'sh pm and has no desire to look for my shoe size. I asked her if she was okay and I could ask for a manager to help me out. She eventually helped me but you can feel theres no willingness. The only thing I like about Landmark is when I do grocery shopping. The employees are attentive and seems like the managers there are strict and very visible. I am giving my two stars to them. If I have to compare these employees to SM employees, the sm staff is more attentive and will follow you around. They might have incentives for selling their goods but it work and they do their job properly. Wake up Landmark admin in Makati! Train your employees to be more helpful. Part of it also is to smile and have great attitude.Visited January 2022Written January 24, 2022

- Marilou AMakati, Philippines17 contributionsExtremely Poor Care and Service from Security Personnel at Landmark MakatiCalling the attention of Landmark Makati officials and owners. My niece’s family driver suffered a heart attack while awaiting her at the Landmark parking area. Her yaya sought the assistance of Landmark security and were advised that service was not in their jurisdiction. They pointed them to the customer service for any complaints. The driver was finally brought by Glorietta personnel to a medical clinic only to pass away 4 hours later. Whether in their jurisdiction or not, helping others in need has no boundaries. Why the arrogance and selection of individuals to help? My daughter bought several items at Landmark yesterday. She used the fitting room (near the Rico Salandanan display area) and left her Iphone 7+ in one of the cubicles. It was an hour later that she realized it was missing. We retraced the shops we went in and ultimately returned to that section. Approaching their staff, they must have recognised our daughter that they guided us to the customer service. She got her Iphone back. Our words are not enough to express our relief and gratitude to Annabelle and her co workers there.

A stone's throw from Makati Shangri-La, where I stayed. The first thought that occurred to me was how clean the area around the hotel and shopping malls were.
Landmark Makati is a large modern shopping mall housing stores that sell a very wide range of branded and unbranded goods. The prices are lower than in equivalent overseas stores.
I found prices in the large supermarket in the basement offered exceedingly good value for money, particularly on locally produced alcohol. Rum, almond liquor, Spanish brandy and gin sell at a few pounds per bottle. If labels or origins do not matter, this is the place to stock up.
Clothing stores are kept in immaculate order, with merchandise neatly stacked at accessible level.
A place worth a visit. Got tired of Landmark? No worries. Just walk to Greenbelt for more shopping fun.
