I have been to Sonya's a few times to dine, buy their famous bread from their bakeshop. My first time to try their spa. And oh my, what bliss! Their spa services start at p500+ for foot spa with pedi, or mani/pedi, body massage start at p800+ . Tries their signature massage, and footspa. Relaxing , with perfect pressure. Each guest gets a reasonably spacious quaint and lovely room, complete with your own shower room. Best massage experience I've ever had. And I have tried spas in all my share of world travels. Surreal!

Didnt stay at b&b but went for 'walk' in organic garden, massage and buffet meal. 1 hr massage 900 peso was very expensive and buffet at 683 peso also very expensive. A trap by local tour guides as once there no other options as a long drive out of town.

Obviously this is a nice place to go BUT:
- expensive for a place far from Manila,
- massage is rated 2* for Pesos 685.00 for 1 hour, when you may have the same at Pesos 250.00 in your home if wanted or parlor in Makati without the burden of traffic jam,
- go there to have a quiet and relaxing stay but not for the food, which is quite good, but only for vegetarians....
Place to visit once only.

I went to Sonia's Garden three months ago. I can't believe the hype they have with this place. We arrived one rainy night - two adults and two kids. After parking our car, we got down, holding two umbrellas, our overnight bags, and the two kids in tow. The staff in the entrance - there were three of them - did not even do anything to assist us. They just looked at us and when we asked where the bed and breakfast was pointed to us the direction. No help or even a gesture of it whatsoever. When we arrived in the dining area, again the same thing happened, no courtesy or intent in helping us. They just wanted to get it done with and call it a day.
What"s worse is the kids didn't touch the damn food. It was awful.
Then we availed of the spa service and since it was a rainy night, we brought our umbrellas from our cottage to the spa area. After our massage, the staff lost our umbrella! It was not an ordinary umbrella that you can purchase just anywhere. The next day after a whole night of querying where our umbrella was, they said they could not locate it and instead replaced it with a cheap and dingy one. Creeps!
That same morning, one of our kids picked a leaf from the thousands of plants there just to smell the plant's sap. You know what the staff told him, not to do that. Damn he was only smelling the leaf's aroma. He wasn't cutting off all the leaves to bald the plant!!!!
Never again will I return to this place. Let it be known to many. Dont commit the mistake!!!!

After hearing all the nice reviews, I bought my Singaporean guest to Sonya's Garden for some relaxing spa and communion with nature. I went up to the reception and announced that its my first time but that did not prompted the receptionist to do much except told us to go south to where the foot spa is being done. The male therapist assigned to us was pouting and during the session while we were telling him what to do, he was very uncooperative and totally ignored our request. He didnt do any real massage and he was in a hurry to finish the session. He was lazy and eager to go back to the cavana where all the other therapist was hanging out. The other woman therapist assigned to us was so untrained, my maid can definitely give a better massage. All in all we paid Php900 for a 30 min. session and we left a P50 tip for each. We left very frustrated and totally dissapointed and I cant understand the snootiness of the service crew. We will never go back to this place again. Oh and by the way, I found at least 5 pcs of hair (of the previous client) in the linens (gross !)

I had no expectations when we had the authentic Filipino Hilot. The attendant took payment before the hilot was done. I was disappointed that their CC machine was offline that time. They did not have manicurists as well when we went there.
The room has a massage bed adjacent to a spacious shower room.
The attendants were rowdy outside since they were working on Christmas day however the noise was muted by the sound of water from the man made falls.
The massage was great. The therapists hands were not heavy. The ambiance and sound added to the great experience.

Most relaxing and envigorating. I realize that the difference between Sonya's Spa and other spas in the city is the surrounding where the mood sets your mind. I think the treatments would be almost the same except that the garden makes this experience all the more relaxing and special.

Not to exaggerate but I tried their signature masage and this is the best massage ever!! The therapist was very thorough - like no stones unturned and the strokes are heavenly good. I will definitely be back again for the massage.

I booked the DORN alignment massage and it was absolutely everything i read online about DORN technique. The masseurs may look tiny but they are very strong and they fingers strong for deep tissue massage.

We went to Sonya's Garden to take pictures and buy from their Panaderia and Country Store. I wished we stayed in this place instead of Tagaytay City. This place is far from the tourist spots which means it really quiet, peaceful and serene. This a place where you can relax. It was really worth the long travel from the city. We loved all the stuff we brought from their stores and we will definetely come back here and stay instead of just dropping by to get stuff.
