The 'mother of all parks' in Baguio city, the summer capital of the Philippines, is a 32.84-hectare park designed by, and named after, American architect and urban planner Daniel Hudson Burnham, who also designed the original plan for Baguio City as well as Dewey Boulevard (now Roxas Boulevard) in Manila. The park has 12 main areas, the most popular of which are the Burnham Lagoon, a man-made lake with rowboats for hire; a children's playground; a skating rink; the Rose Garden and the Picnic Grove.

Burnham Park is an ideal place to visit if you just want to walk and spend some me time. They never run out of activities. From biking, to rides in the lake, to food trip, this park has it all. Of course, if you just want to sit in a bench and do some people-watching, that's okay, too. :)

This place is good for everyone, whether you're young or old. You can walk, jog, bike, race, and skate around it. You can also ride a boat on the lake but the water is not clear anymore but it'll do. The place has a well-maintain garden.

This place maintained it's charm throughout the years. Lots of food establishments to choose from, bike rentals for kids and adults alike and my favorite, paddling in Burnham lake,

Expect large crowds of people -- it's a cool mountain park in the Philippines. But, even with the crowds, it feels quite safe. There's a lot to offer from swan boat rides, to bicycle rentals to street sweets.

Colourful gardens, placid lake with paddle boats and row boats. Lovely place to relax. No smoking. Great place for families.

This attraction is situated at the very heart of Baguio City. Lots of hotels, universities, shopping centers around and close to bus stations. The park features lake at the middle for boating, country music is heard playing anywhere, massage private therapist are offering services while sitting and watching the boat goers, if you feel hungry, eateries are all around. Starting... More

I was amazed at the many activities you can do in this park. Bikes of all sort are up for rent. And food peddlers are everywhere. Great park for the family.

The whole area is always packed with locals and tourists, though its not well maintained, like there some trashes around park.

Commercialized. Sadly, it seems like the historical significance of the park have been set aside. The original design should have been protected. No longer a relaxing place. Almost like more business than tourist.

Paddle back and forth as if there was no object obstructing the way. I was fortunate to have a paddle training before I went to Singapore; this time around canoeing. Burnham Park was more of a relaxation place. After a tiresome walk in Session Road or just want to unwind. Back in my childhood days, my parents would hire bikes... More
