Someone came up with major funding to build this lovely museum. Beautiful displays and plenty of interpretive signage. Clearly tell the amazing story of Lady Cao, an important leader.

Worth a half-day at least. Consider hiring a guide to make your experience more meaningful. Small but interesting museum.

This was one of the highlights from my trip to Trujillo. The ruins are in amazing condition with great color still evident (more so than other ruins I've seen in Trujillo). A must see for sure!

Very impressive... In my opinion, this site and museum should be a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A must see when you visit Trujillo!

An impressive place located very near the ocean and surrounded by sand. The little villages are far away in fact, from the archaelogical site"El Brujo" where Lady of Cao temple "huaca" is lacated. Colorful decorations made by "Mochica" civilization thousands of years ago are really...More

Highly recommended for a visit while in Trujillo. We opted to take a round trip taxi suggested by our hotel instead of taking an organized tour. The museum has signs both in Spanish and English, so, it's easy to see and understand the history of...More
