we did the Jamuy City Tour a bus made out of wood. It was very bizarre and the inside was hippy as well. The guide spoke reasonable English but he rarely understood our questions. We stopped and walked through a fruit and vegetable market which was great. Then we got off the bus to see the Yavari www.yavari.org on lake Titicaca a British-built ship. Made in Liverpool first it was sent around Cape Horn then hauled by mules over the Andes. A journey that took over six years! It’s close to 150 years old. Then we went 150 meters above Puno to a statue Cerrito de Huajsapata, where there was a great view of the city and lake. A great morning, good value.…
