Peru Amazon Garden Local 100% Peruvian Tour operator (Based in Tambopata Natural Reserve) Committed to social projects and improving living conditions for the children of Peru. Lots of facilities to book any expedition in Peru. Our Amazon Garden Lodge is located in one of the most privileged locations in the area, since we are located between Lake Sandoval and Monkey Island in the Natural Reserve of Tambopata Protected Rainforest; the lodge is a strategic point for flora and fauna sightings. We have some of the best national guides in the area with more than ten years of experience working in the tropical rainforest. We are located in what is considered one of the best areas in the Peruvian Amazon for birdwatching. Since the lodge’s access from the Madre de Dios River is by foot and in a paddle canoe, we offer the opportunity for flora and fauna sightings from the very beginning of the tour.

Our time at Peru Amazon Garden Lodge was an exquisite escape into the untouched realms of the Tambopata jungle. Nestled amidst the lush and vibrant wilderness, the lodge offered an impeccable blend of comfort and adventure. The accommodations were cozy and thoughtfully designed, allowing us to immerse ourselves fully in the surrounding nature while enjoying modern conviniences.
The excursions, guided by the incredibly knowledgeable and passionate staff, opened our eyes to the rich bio diversity of the Amazon. We marveled at the array of wildlife, from playful monkeys to vibrant parrots, all while learning about the delicate ecosystems of this remarkable jungle. The nighttime safari was a particular highlight, revealing a mesmerizing world that comes alive under the cover of darlness.
Meals at the lodge were a delightful culinary journey, showcasing the fresh and diverse flavours of the region. The staff went above and beyond to cater to various dietary needs and preferences, ensuring each dining experience was a pleasure.

We had a great time at the Peru Amazon Garden Lodge, it is such a beautiful place to be. The guides were great, we did a lot of tours and met interesting people from all over the world. The staff was friendly and attentive. I want to thank the cook for the lovingly prepared vegetarian food. The rooms are nice and clean, it's a nice atmosphere and when the lights are off you hear the sound of the jungle. We sleep very well every night.
I really fell in love with the jungle! We saw a lot of animals which was amazing but the main experience was just breathtaking Thank you for creating such a beautiful place with so much respect and love for nature and visitors.

Paradise Amazon Garden Lodge provided an exceptional stay in Tambopata. The lodge was a perfect gateway to the Amazon´s wonders, offering both comfort and an authentic jungle experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay, and the wildlife sightings were simply spectacular. A true paradise for nature lovers.

Staying at the Peru Amazon Garden lodge in Tambopata was a magical experience for us as a couple. The sernity of the surroundings combined with the intimate ambiance of the lodge made it a perfect romantic gateway. Every moment was filled with natural beauty and the staff ensured our stay was memorable. It was a dreamy chapter in our journey together.

We booked a trip for 5 of us (10 days, 9 nights) in Peru, combining an Amazon adventure and Machu Picchu trip.
Before we left the UK, Wayra was incredibly helpful in helping us plan our trip, allowing us to tailor the standard iteniary to do rafting instead of Rainbow Mountain. He always responded promptly to our questions and calls through WhatsApp.
Wayra discussed our interests and plans for Peru with us to ensure our final iteniary was personalised for our groups specific needs, rather than just selling us the most common or standard package.
The service provided by Peru Amazon Garden Lodge was professional and customer orientated throughout, from airport pick-up through to airport drop-off, taking all of the logistical hassle from us at a reasonable price.
All of the drivers provided were punctual and professional and the tour guides spoke excellent English, were extremely knowledgeable and patient and we felt safe throughout.
A special mention to our Amazon Lodge staff (Andreas - lead, Alex & Niko) who went above and beyond to make our Amazon stay truly memorable. Having two tour guides (since Alex was a driver / guide) for just our small group of 5, made the experience feel very personalised and intimate.
Finally, Wayra and his colleagues in the office also went above and beyond during our trip, helping us sort out medical logistics in the night, when a group member fell ill and taking time to explain each element of the trip and why he believed it to be the best tailored experience for us.
Overall, I can't recommend Wayra and Peru Amazon Garden highly enough, the company deserves a 6* review. If you are looking for a bespoke small group trip in Peru (avoiding the large tour groups that cram you on buses), Peru Amazon Garden ticks all the boxes.

Had a brilliant time at the lodge.
We arrived to the airport and was picked up immediately by the tour guide. Andres was our tour guide and he was incredible.
We drove to the river front and got on a boat. They took our luggage and made everything safe. Alex rode the boat and was fanstatic.
We were shown our rooms. They are very traditional. There is only electricity between 5 and 9pm. There are mosquito nets around the bed. It was very clean. Shower and toilet were very good. Overall a great experience of staying in the jungle.
The food was incredible. We had our own personalised cook - nicko. He was amazing. Food was fresh and tasty always. He would even make it appear great.
Activities included - walking into the jungle and exploring wildlife. We went for a night ride in the river to spot animals including crocodiles. Day 2 we went for a hike to the lake. It was difficult as muddy and long but Andres was very supportive and helpful. Again saw lots of wildlife. We then spent time with a native family playing games and joining their culture. It was great fun. We requested to do a tree top bridge walk and it was organised. This too was great fun. Kayaking was tough as the water current is strong. Do NOT go alone as it makes it harder. Fishing was tough as did not catch anything but still good fun.
HIghlights - Andres is an amazing tour guide. Alex is great to ride boat and support us. Nicko is a fanstastic cook. The activities were really good fun. Spotted lots of animals and learnt about different trees and plants.

Dear! Its Glad to know that you have enjoyed our peru tour package while you were in peru. As tour operator we have 100% control of all service in cusco and Puerto Maldonado. Specially in Tambopata Natural Reserve where we have our own Lodge so we have the whole control to organize even if you have a group of 02 people. Peru Amazon Garden is the only company who can organize with a minimum group of 02 people, no matter if you have selected large group service. because WE NEVER PASS OUR PEOPLE ONTO ANOTHER OPERATOR. thats why we provided a personal cook to give you plenty of buffet style food, as well as mineral water all the days while you were here in our lodge.
YOU WILL NEVER BE HUNGRY WITH US!!!
all our guides are from the Jungle and all of them are trained to make jungle expeditions and to provide you a memorable jungle expedition.
our Lodge is located into the Tambopata Natural Reserve, where you find so much wildlife, thats why you have enjoyed and saw many wildlife because we have jungle trail and special places where nobody goes.

The Peru Amazon Garden Lodge is about a hour boat ride down the Madre de Dios River from Puerto Maldonado. As soon as you climb up the banks of the river, you hike through a short path made of circles of tree trunks and emerge into a beautifully maintained lodge. There are two group lodges for dining and group activities, and about 10 thatched roof bungalows that are screened in and have very comfortable beds, a locked door, running water and electricity, with private bathrooms and showers. Mosquito nets encase each bed at night. Trained, registered guides take you on various activities in the jungle, including Sandoval Lake which has amazing birds and wildlife (highlight was the giant otters gobbling up pirahas!), kayaking on the Madre de Dios River, a canopy experience with ziplining and canopy walk, and a trip to the clay lick to see the birds feasting at daybreak. The staff are there to make sure your experience is comfortable, a private chef prepares tasty dishes using local ingredients (there is a garden of fruit and vegetable trees at the lodge). We did not have internet there, but that was part of the appeal for me to have a nature experience with my teenage kids. It was so peaceful to be surrounded by undeveloped jungle and hearing no noises except the sounds of monkeys, birds, boars and capybaras. I highly recommend this lodge and a trip to the Amazon!

Had a pleasant stay right in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest. The tour company is run by locals who are very knowledgeable and friendly. They did everything from start to the end of our stay in making this a memorable part of our time in Peru.

Recently did the 4 day Tambopata tour with Peru Amazon garden Lodge and it was a fantastic experience! The lodge was comfortable and immersed in nature, offering a true jungle experience. The wildlife sightings were incredible, and our guides were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. A érfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

A very posiitve and a breathtaking trip to the tambopata jungle and all thanks to the tour company for being exceptionally well organised and the knowledgeable guide who showered us with all interesting facts about the life in this part of the rainforest.
