As with most Spanish origin towns and cites there is a central square or park in the town. It is often a gathering place for the locals. We found the town park a good location to go shopping from and return to sit and relax for a few moments. Stores and restaurants are adjacent to the park, a great bakery... More

On another side is Cafe de Cervantes where one can get a 'cafeteria pequeno' - a small cup of coffee for $.30. The cafe also sells pasteries, cakes and other sizes of delicious... More

Nice fountain when the water is running. However, most days it does not run. Do not make this the highlight of your trip.

The main square in David has people in it night and day. It's a gathering place to meet friends or just sit and feed the squirrels. There's nothing particularly great about this park, it's just in the city center. We crossed it a couple of times while staying at the Hotel Ciudad de David. You can easily see everything in... Only a small square block but surprisingly quiet although traffic on all 4 sides. Many large trees give plenty of shade and, with the breeze blowing, it was very cool and pleasant. Very convenient as it is right in the middle of David with hotels, shopping, restaurants, and casinos all around.

Big water fountain in middle of park and lots of freindly locals ready to give you advise in Spanish, no English here . Good way to practice your Spanish.Park is very tropical with lots of trees and vegetation,in centre... More

It's large and has a water fountain. The first time I saw the park was on Google Earth. I told myself that I am gonig to that park someday. I live close to the Park and go by there 2 or 3 times a week.

The park is more of a town center square but non the less offers a great location to people watch or to take a stroll in the evening. I think we attended an outside church one evening based on the music ( my Spanish is a little too weak for me to understand the discussions). The big downside to the... More
