We had a great time: clear blue water, empty beaches, nice roads to walk. Staying at Gerald's is highly recommended.

An interesting and beautiful beach. The abandoned resort is weird and quite fascinating. To see the abandoned rooms with plants growing round them. The colourful painted walls of what was the bar area. There's also the ship left stranded on the beach which is heavily...More

The bit up ship abandoned on the the beach and the ruins of a once hotel casino right behind the beach are the only set back to an otherwise absolutely amazing beach with calm and pristine waters . This is a “crowded” Saturday afternoon !!...More

Both times we have gone, 4 years apart, we have been bitten by miniature small sea creatures or jelly fish much more than at any of the other Contadora beaches. Also, the bombed out and abandoned hotel should be razed so that it is not...More

Like all the beaches in Contadora this is beautiful with fantastic sand and blue sea. Make sure you take everything with you as there are no shops/stalls etc... on the beaches. Within 2 minutes walk of Geralds B & B

Beach on the far side of the airport on Contadora. In an abandoned part of the island near buildings that are uninhabited and covered in graffiti. There is a cap sized boat on the beach. It had lovely sand and crystal blue water. However the...More

This is the largest beach on the island, and it would be paradise was it not for the large, abandoned resort that occupies most of the area behind the beach. A number of residential buildings as well as a beach bar lie derelict behind the...More
