Sailing One World offers an unique way of sailing since there are not too many Traditional Gaff Rigged Brigantine Charter Boats in operation. Captains Rachele and Ariel are sisters with a great deal of sailing experience, nautical knowledge and hysterical stories. We spent 5 days sailing thru the San Blas Islands and visited beautiful, tranquil palm tree studded islands with quiet anchorages and beautiful reefs. The Pirate ladies are both very clever and artistic and if you wish, they will share with you and teach you how to tie any knot. We also had additional crew of 2 (chef and deckhand) and two adorable canine crew in Chi-Chi and Ollie. There is lots of room on deck for all and the sailing is quite comfortable.

Huge thanks to Rachel and Ariel! My Pops and I went sailing with One World in early March 2017....what an incredible experience! Top notch service from the crew on One World! From when we stepped foot on to the vessel, we knew we were in good hands...the crew immediately spoke about safety! As we were given a tour around the boat getting our bearings, we couldnt help but notice how tidey and organized everything was :) Very impressed with the communication! We were fortunate with good weather which provided a nice sail around the islands, great snorkeling! We had fun with the dogs that were excited to run around one of the islands when doing some exploring! We did not expect such amazing food!!! Was a delightful treat to eat so healthy with all of the fruits and veggies! Thanks again so much for an incredible experience along with your travel stories!

I have wanted to see the San Blas Islands since we moved to Panama 10 years ago. We finally did the tour with Sailing One World and the trip exceeded my expectations. Rachel and Ariel are extremely competent and skilled captains of the ship. We loved to hear their stories and about their experiences. We were on the ship for three nights and four days. The weather was good which made the sailing, snorkeling and time spent on the islands perfect. The food was excellent and our cabin was comfortable. Chris, a volunteer crew member, enhanced our snorkeling experience by pointing out interesting features in the coral and also by spotting interesting sea life. He was also a very good cook. One of the highlights for us was a visit from Lisa, a Kuna master mola maker, and wise woman. She told us about the symbolism on the traditional molas and talked about Kuna culture and tradition. For the non-Spanish speakers Rachel and Ariel translated what Lisa said. It is impressive the networking and connections that Rachel and Ariel have cultivated with the local people. It was obvious that they are well respected and well liked by everyone in the area. I highly recommend this tour for the beauty of the islands, the fun of sailing with Rachel and Ariel and for the good food and accommodations. Now one of the last items on my bucket list has been checked off.

Although it took a while to organise getting to the boat once we were there it was well worth it. Before going I was a bit apprehensive about being stuck on a 20m boat for three nights with strangers but I shouldn't have been. We had a great time on the boat and there was always something to do. Rachel and Ariel were very good at making people feel at home. The food was great and as a veggie I was happy about this. The best part of the trip for me was the snorkelling with Chris. It was fantastic having a dive master to show you things under the water and the coral around the islands . We saw was the second best coral I've ever seen. I'm usually disappointed now when I go snorkelling as often the coral is dead, but nearly all the coral we saw in San Blas was living. I think this was because we were taken to places where not too many people go. Thanks again for the wonderful experience!
