Eclectic and fascinating. Perfect place for home furnishings or accents.

Although we are not yet ready to furnish a permanent home, we stopped by for a look. The decor and ambiance of the store is very interesting and inviting. The furniture and accent pieces are truly one of a kind and priced fairly as compared to similar stores in our home state of California. We enjoyed a warm welcome and patience with answering all of our questions from Diane, the owner. When we are ready for new items, we will be back!

When I entered Zapadora I discover a very interesting store to found the furniture I was looking fir and never found it in other stores. Beautiful doors, tiles, paintings. I love this place. I found there a stunning painting and bought it for my restaurant.

Zapadora has been Amazing for Years
Oct 2017 • Couples
Long before my husband and I moved to the area, the one place always on our list to go each trip was Zapadora.

This goes back to 2007 and it has been a pleasure knowing Diane (owner) since that time. Diane has a knack for finding the unique and also helping to envision one’s interior decorating dilemmas.

Honest, reliable, hard working - what else could one want? The Zapadora has a special place in my heart. I may have to go tomorrow now that I wrote this!

Thanks so much Valerie, that is greatly appreciated and humbly received. I am not joking when I say that one of the reasons this work is such a pleasure, is dealing with great people ( like you!) and the continuing support of the community.

Fun place to stop when driving Boquete to Volcan
Sep 2017 • Family
This is an antique, furniture, art and unusual architectural items warehouse, with many small treasures also. It is like a gallery fun to walk around and look at all the unusual things. The building is also unusual. Defiantly worth the stop if your are taking the back road (which is incredibly beautiful drive through canyons and jungle) to Volcan. Also if you just love shopping for unusual things then it worth the trip on your own.

Great place for buyers and sellers
Jul 2017 • Friends
This is a fun place to visit with all kinds of items for sale. I go regularly just to see what is new. Diane just sold a dining room set for me that was simply to big for my space and I revived the amount I had ask for.. One of the few places in the area where you can find solid wood furniture both old and new.

Experienced consignor & buyer... I love wandering through The Zapadora... you never know what will interest you or what you'll take home.. As a consignor my experience was fabulous... consigned a VERY large Panamanian folk painting about 6' x 5'... I had advertised the painting locally online for a couple of months with no action... then consigned the painting to Dianne at the Zap and it was sold for a fair price within a couple of weeks.... great service. You can't go wrong as a shopper, buyer or consignor. Enjoy the experience.

Off the Beaten Path in Location and Merchandise
Jul 2017 • Family
Zapadora is a rare bird in Panama. It offers a beautifully merchandised assortment of eclectic and hard-to-find home decor items. The owner, Diane Heidke, is an artist in her own right and some of her outstanding, over-sized paintings are also available for purchase. If I had a home here, I would be hard pressed not to buy one for myself.

For those building or remodeling in the Chiriqui area, don't miss a stop at Zapadora. It offers you an opportunity to personalize your digs, and transcend the rather plain concrete block aesthetic that predominates in the area.

f you are on the way to Volcan, stop into Zapadora, but it really worth a trip all on its own.
