Serious safety incident
It took me almost a year to finally post this review. I strongly recommend women to not hire Feliciano as your guide if you’re by yourself. It’s a big contrast if you look at the other reviews, where Feliciano is described as a very nice person, which he probably is for many people. I have to say, he’s very charming, funny and you can probably, as you will read in the other reviews, have a great day with him. Did a walking tour with him. He’s the guide that knows the area by heart. Not long after we left he subtly started to flirt with me and also touching me, first my hand, but also my arms, shoulder and legs, even after telling him many times to stop doing that. He wears a big machete and suggested to chop off my legs (this of course was a joke but still...). He has an obsession for Northern European women and I felt very unsafe. It’s a personal story, but google his name and you’ll unfortunately find more stories like this about him.

The El Pianista hike with Feliciano was truly amazing! The cloud forest was beautiful and it was really nice to do the hike with Feliciano. He told us a lot about Panama and about everything that we saw. It's so nice to see how passionate he is about the nature!! I really recommend you to do the El Pianista hike with Feliciano. From the top you could be able to see both the Pacific ocean and Atlantic ocean, so you don't need to hike to Volcan Baru to see that. It was cloudy when we did the hike, but even if we didn't get to see the view it was really really worth doing the hike :

we did a beautiful hike with feliciano near the quetzal-trail. it was so quiet there we didnt saw any other tourists. he is so passionate with the nature and shows you a lot of little details and explains a lot about plants. we just loved it! the trail was so hidden and we saw a lot of different vegetation. he is such a happy and lovely person! after the hike he invited us to his place to have a coffee. he even gave us some coffee as a present and a huge bag of fresh fruits and veggies from his garden.

We just finished a great half day hike with Feliciano. Feliciano is a very nice person who surprised us with a lot of Dutch words. The hike we did was very cool and completely off the beaten track. We saw no people other than the indigenous people who live in the area. Views and diversity were great and added to the thrill was a section through real jungle where the path was so narrow that a machete was needed here and there to clear the track. I cannot imagine a nicer and better guide in Boquete.

Feliciano is a wonderful tour guide. He's incredibly passionate about nature and life. You can't help but be warmed by his energy. He's very knowledgable about the area and will take you completely off the beaten track. We did two treks - a full day and a half day - and didn't see a single other tourist. He goes out of his way to show you Quetzals and bird nests etc. If that's not enough to persuade you, he also brings the most delicious home grown papaya and pineapples for snacks! I can't recommend trekking with Feliciano enough and wish we had longer in Boquete. Lastly, Feliciano's prices are very reasonable and it's best to book via whatsapp: +50766249940
