Pretty whimsical garden
Dec 2019 • Family
Very pretty whimsical garden. There were happy sayings, happy music playing from flower speakers on the walk. The lady who owned the place gave us a tour of her very impressive bonsai garden as well. Very worthwhile to walk around.

Funny family friendly quirky garden

Little ones enjoyed the garden and it’s funny and whimsical decor. We all did. Great views of Volcan Baru during much of it. Helps to know Spanish to understand the multiple quotes/phrases on license plates and items throughout. Worth a little afternoon wander.

Loved it!
Mar 2019 • Family
I came here with my 7 y.o daughter and another family. The location is absolutely beautiful, overlooking the river and Volcan Baru. There are not a ton of trails but there is a lot to look at! They clearly spend a ton of time maintaining the grounds. Its all recycled materials turned imto eclectic art! We spent about an hour here, but could have hung out longer. Was a perfect place to spend an hour or so just before sunset/ dinner .

Eccentric garden

Not a must do activity but if you have the time its a pleasant garden to roam with all sorts of oddities along the way made out of recycled items. Good way to test your Spanish reading the numerous signs along the route.

Fun and interesting
Feb 2019 • Couples
I saw some reviews that said this place was run down and not worth seeing. I disagree! While some of the characters are a little weathered, the landscape is beautiful. And even though some of the characters and whimsical items are weathered they are still very interesting and fun to look at! The area overall is very beautiful and the views are wonderful! The time spent in creating all the interesting characters and items is obvious. And there are many things to see and quotes around the property. There are many seating areas to enjoy the scenery. I especially liked the "children's hideaway" as I'll call it. There are old toys in there and even a baby swing to swing your child while you relax. We also really liked the gigantic swing set.

I suspect people that rated this low did not walk through the whole garden and therefore could not appreciate it fully. We noticed people rushing through and not seeing everything. You must take the time to walk through all the areas and really look at everything. We spent almost 2 hours here, much longer than we thought we'd be there but everything was so interesting. This is a must see while in Boquete. Quirky and fun!

A wonderful, whismical garden with beautiful variety of plants and kitchy decorations. The owner is a sweet heart who welcomes everyone. Loved it!

Poor rabbits are not well cared for
Nov 2018 • Friends
Quirky garden which has cool things to look at. I was really enjoying myself walking around until I came to the part where the rabbits were. The poor poor rabbits were crammed into dirty, horrible, tiny, inhabitable cages. I do not know how you could do that to the poor creatures! I wanted to let them all free!
The birds were also in small cages and looked very unhappy. It was so sad.
The rabbits were for sale, I hope people buy them so they can have a nice home to live in.

GO! We walked and meditated in the green, lush area of these gardens. Beautiful phrases in Spanish to help brighten the day. What a calm and peaceful adventure!

Excellent artsy experience, highly recommended. The entry is very modest but we liked what has been done with the place. We hope to go back.

Delightful morning stroll!
Mar 2018
Really enjoyed our time at the gardens! So much to take in with all the whimsical garden decor amongst lovely flowers, plants and trees. Set on a rolling hillside in Jaramillo, you also get great views of Boquete. Must be over 100 license plates re-purposed with cute Life's Lessons sayings! Of course they're written in Spanish so it was a fun teaching opportunity! Plan on 1.5 - 2 hours, and do get on the Giant Swing!
